I’m not sure where to begin. Akira was simply amazing. We were a complicated group of 7 (two marathon runners, different arrival times, and different dietary restrictions). Akira was able to adjust our itineraries at a moments notice and made sure that we saw the highlights of Tokyo. He guided us through the city with ease and was extremely knowledgeable. He would even stop and get samples of local fare to make sure that we didn’t miss anything that Tokyo had to offer. We even went above and beyond to help us coordinate taxis for our move from the hotel to our AirBnB and our bullet train tickets to our next city. From the wonderful restaurants that he choose to the small extra details that he added on the fly, he made our trip to Tokyo truly memorable. I can’t recommend Akira enough as a guide. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
Chad, Thank you for the warm message. It was so nice and so much fun to guide you and your folks, a bunch of colorful and jolly people from US. I am sure that you have been good and the rest of the trip to Kyoto, Nara, and Hiroshima has been enjoyable because I think people in Japan has basically helpful even though there will always be language barrier and and most importantly, because you have a good heart. Oh, I forgot giving you a list of books regarding folklore and mythology in Japan. I hope it will help, and I am sure that there are translated version of them. Mythology: Kojiki Folklore: Kojyaku Monogatari Uji Shui Monogatari Well, I hope you come back to Tokyo again and I am looking forward to guiding you this strange and funny city. Thank you. Akira
