I have been guided by Takashi around Tokyo and Akiba for a short but very interesting trip during my lay-over time during the fight to my hometome. He was an excellent guide, very humble with very influential English speaking. I will definitely come back for another longer trip, there are still so many ppaces i wish to visit. I just love Japan! view more
I unhesitatingly encourage other people to hire Akira to fulfill their tour needs. He is very knowledgeable about the details of Tokyo! He was prompt arriving at our hotel on time. We saw all of the places I wanted to visit and he gave many informative illustrations of what we were seeing. He even went so far as to take us to our seats on the return trip on the train in Tokyo Station which relieved me of any anxiety about getting back to our hotel. Akira is very friendly and accommodating view more
I had asked TripleLights if they had guides who spoke Mandarin and they had suggested a few names. When I wrote to Toshiro, I had a number of replies and I was assured from the correspondences that he took his guiding very seriously. Toshiro is considerate and kind. He ensured that my mother (75 years of age) could understand him through his spoken Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkien dialects. I did also communicate that she had walking challenges so when it came to taking the stairs at the subwa... view more
Only had a few hours to try and get in a few sites in Tokyo while on a business trip with a client. Nobu was the perfect guide - making sure we were able to see several sites and spend the right amount of time at each. He knew his way around the city perfectly, providing sound advice on how best to go between locations. He provided us with the perfect amount of information about the places we visited. I am sure he could have given a lecture on each location, but Nobu was able to read his aud... view more
We had a very full day of sightseeing in Tokyo. Shoji picked us up at our Hotel at the arranged time and we spent a few moments explaining what we would like to see. Immediately we set off for the Imperial Palace and was impressed how organised he was. We visited 3 other sites, had a lovely lunch in the meantime and finished our tour at Shibuya crossing where he helped us get on the correct train line for our Hotel stop. Shoji was very easy to talk to and was very knowledgeable on the history of... view more

We spent a very busy, but enjoyable day with Hiroki. Before the day of our tour I corresponded with Hiroki and requested he focus on cultural highlights. Hiroki planned a full day and showed us many different areas of Tokyo. We traveled using the Tokyo's extensive subway system and he provided excellent commentary as we toured many different sites. Per our prior discussions Hiroki scheduled a special tea ceremony for us (at additional cost) which was a real highlight! He also did not miss ... view more
Kazuo went way beyond what almost any other guide would do for me by helping me plan my trip in detail in advance since so many things require advance booking, planning, etc. He was fantastic! view more
Noriko was an amazing guide. Took me to beautiful places I would have never seen by myself in Tokyo, Japan where I stayed at. She was very knowledgeable about everything. I had two slightly rainy days in the mornings but she would find something to go see instead of waiting for the rain to stop. What made it even more beautiful was the trip we took to Hakone. For it being my first trip to Japan it was an amazing experience thanks to her. I can't wait for my next visit to Japan and continue my ad... view more

Akira was so helpful on our first day in Japan. He showed us how to use the Tokyo subway and generally how to navigate Tokyo and get our bearings by pointing out landmarks near our hotel. He is gave us history and explanations of the landmarks we visited and took pictures of us at each site. It was so helpful to have a local guide us so we could sightsee despite the jet lag. Highly recommend Akira! view more
