Masahiko is friendly , effective and very personalized tour guide. He was always on time and helpful in our tour. Since its our first time in Japan, Masahiko was kind enough to guide us in our directions. He was very patient in answering all our queries. During our tour, the weather is bad and it keeps on raining but still Masahiko was able to manage our tour to be a good and memorable one for us. He's also very knowledgeable in sharing to us the culture , history and insights of a particular p... view more
I spent a wonderful day with Masaharu in Tokyo seeing the most popular sites. He is extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of Tokyo and shared many stories about the different temples, shrines, monuments and neighborhoods we visited. He also took me to a fabulous place for lunch which was a feat in itself as I am vegan and gluten free. So finding this gem of a restaurant in Tokyo was quite a surprise. Also, walking the city gave me a much better perspective as we traveled with... view more
Our guide was so knowledgeable. With a 24, 22, and 12 year old it was hard to find something we could all enjoy but Nikko and Edo Wonderland were perfect. The train ride was about 2 hours but well worth seeing the countryside of Japan. First Nikko, it was snowing (January 2017) but we were dressed for it. They were in the process of refinishing everything at the shrine for the 2020 Olympics but 1/4 of them were done, it is going to be beautiful. Nestled in the woods it was amazing. Kyoko was my personal tour guide when i travelled solo to Tokyo. I was prepared mentally for a very urban, concrete jungle with a bagazillion number of boring-looking, work minded people. Kyoko was able to stamp down this expectation with such patience and grace. She showed me a side of Tokyo which was graceful and wise, just like her. She showed me the life of Tokyo which resides in the centuries old temples, dams, palaces, pine trees and many more. Taking extreme consideration of my Muslim nee... view more

We had the most amazing day with Kazue during our tour in Tokyo! She is very friendly, polite and we really enjoyed our day with her visiting Tokyo! We contacted Kazue on her availability before arriving in Japan and she was very prompt to respond with ideas on how to customise our tour. After a few emails our plan was set and ready for our one-day (8hrs) tour of Tokyo. She introduced us to must-see areas, shrines/temples and food of Tokyo. The fact that she speaks perfect English, made ... view more
We had a long walking tour of the Ueno and Asakusa areas including Ueno Park and the Sensou-ji Temple. I appreciated Dai's information about the etiquette for temples and shrines. view more
