Fumie was a wonderful guide for our day in Shimizu. She took us to many off the beaten path places for a unique tour. She was very accommodating in her ability to modify the day on the fly when our "old feet" were just too tired to go on. She was very comprehensive in providing in advance a spreadsheet of anticipated extra expenses for the tour. She gracefully handled all of the metro fares and provided receipts and change at the end of the tour. Very Professional! view more
Hiroyo is a very friendly and well-informed guide. We are very pleased and enjoyed our trip with her. She told us a little bit of Japan History, and teach us a LOT of Japanese tea and production processing. She taught us 2 Japanese songs and translated them so we could sing together. At the end of our trip, she brought us to try Japanese "cha-ffle", a light and very refreshing snacks. Very recommended guide 👍👍👍 view more
Hiroko was an awesome guide. We were travelling with a 4 month old and we forgot his formula. She brought us to a drugstore so we can get formula so we can continue our trip. It was a bit challenging travelling with a 4 month old but she made it easy for us. She did a customized tour for us, first to a wasabi farm where she gave us information on how wasabi is grown, then after that we went to a short hike to view a waterfalls. After that she brought us to a tea farm. Where we picked tea lea... view more
Yoshito is a great person and an amazing guide. Pre-event communication was clear and Yoshito was very accommodating. During the event, it felt like Yoshito was part of the team and all of our guests valued his support. Should we return to Japan and need a guide, we'll definitely book with Triplelights and Yoshito. Thanks for all of your help Yoshito, the event would not have been a success without it. view more

We recently went on a Windstar cruise in Japan and had a short stop in Shimizo. We pre-booked a half day tour with local expert, Yasuko, to visit Shizuoka. We found Yasuko from a list of available private tour guides from the TripleLights.com website. From the planning stages, she communicated thoroughly with our itinerary and answered any and all questions very promptly. We had only half a day at port and so we wanted to see the Kunozan Toshogu Shrine and Mt. Fuji. She met us at the port ... view more
Yuji took the 4 of us up to 5th station Mt Fuji in his car. We had coffee at the top before descending to the Heritage Cente where we also visited the Shinto shrine. The drive back took us through the hills and not on Expressway. An excellent day out with Yuji easy to understand and very flexible with our itinerary. view more
