My Son and I were in the wonderful San'in Region of Southwest of Honshu in Japan for a couple of days and wanted to know a little more of this place. It was the “golden week”, so lots of people were travelling around. Megumi showed us the Matsui Castle and Adachi Museum, what we enjoyed very much! The tour was very instructive and the amount of information was just right. We had a wonderful time together. I can Megumi highly recommend if you are visiting this area of Japan! view more
We arranged a day tour with Ritsuko from Azamara Quest docked in Sakaimenato. Then we went on to visit the beautiful castle at Matsue, followed a boat ride around the moat. The boat has a roof that comes right down as you go under the low bridges - great fun! We also went to the fascinating Lafcadio Hearn Museum and his home. Lafcadio was the first European to gain real i... view more
Hi Shun-San was a pleasure to work with, very detail oriented before our arrival to Japan so we had a plan of what we would be seeing. We toured Matsue Castle, walked to old town. Went to a Samarai house and had the local special soba noodles. In the afternoon we went to Adachi Museum, a spectacular place! Overall, I would highly recommend. He was prepared, had great stories and knowledge or the area, a pleasure to work with. This area shouldn’t be missed. view more
Hiroko is very professional and responsive in communications. She was great about making suggestions in the area of things we could enjoy. We had a short time in the area as part of a cruise visit. We were not very excited about this particular port. Hiroko arranged transportation so we could get around easily and planned a great itinerary. We spent a short time in Sakaiminoto and more time in Matsue. She is very knowledgeable about the area and thought us a lot. She brought materials that we co... view more
