We booked 2 tours with Hideo Yoshida. One full day tour in Osaka and Nara and another full day tour in Kyoto including Arashiyama. From my first email to inquire about private tours, Hideo sent a reply very fast. As we discussed our itinerary, I sent many emails with many questions and he was very patient, efficient and prompt in replying to my emails. Because of his fast replies with complete details, we were able to finalize our booking in a very short time. The most important thing I appreciate about Hideo is his EXTRA help with my other requests that are outside of the tour services that we booked with him. He helped us book our transportation for sightseeing including for places that we visited without a guide. He also helped us think of activities we can do for the new year, helped us arrange for a wheelchair when we needed one and helped us purchase our theme park special passes. He even sent me more emails with additional information that he suggested based on our interests. He made extra preparations for our tours by giving us folders with maps and brochures about the places we visited. For our tour without a guide, he made sure our transportation with wheelchair was arranged, he forwarded to me name and contact details of driver in advance so we can easily find him when he picks us up in our hotel. Hideo is an experienced and very knowledgeable guide. He is also very detailed and well organized. The best thing about Hideo is he goes the extra mile to help us with all our needs and requests. We were able to make the most out of our sightseeing with Hideo's guidance. I would like to thank him for all his help in making our trip memorable and worthwhile.
Hideo was very organized and insightful. He had an itinerary laid out for us and made all our traveling easy. He was knowledgeable about all the places we went and a very nice person. When we come back to Japan, we will tour with Hideo again! Thanks Hideo!!!
This is the first time we are visiting Japan on holidays and we have decided to use TripleLights, also for the first time, for the above itineraries. Having chosen Hideo who have done amazingly well to guide our trips, we are satisfied with his recommendations although the rains in Kyoto somehow dampen things a bit. TQ Hideo.
We have our tour with Mr Hideo, he is so helpful and flexible to cater for our request, he took extra mile to arrange for our train tickets and patience with answering our questions. We will surely hire him again on our next visit. P.s. Mr Hideo wish you good health and happy new year
Wishing to visit Kyoto in depth in the short time we had, we disembarked the ship we are sailing in in Kobe and travelled to Kyoto by Shinkansen, and spent the night there, rejoining our cruise the day after. Hideo picked us up in Kobe and was with us both days. Thanks to him, we saw many sights, using both taxis and public transport, and made it back to the ship with ample time. Hideo is very patient, punctual and knowledgeable and we had two wonderful days with him in this lovely city. Whilst we never felt hurried, we managed to see everything we had planned in advance, with his great help and suggestions, and although we probably just scratched the surface of this great city, we could never have done it without him.
Main purpose was to try the Kobe beef. We went to one of the oldest sake brewery in Japan. There was a sake brewery museum about the history of the brewery which was very interesting. The good sake there are very affordable and for foreigners, tax-free is processed there too. Animal Kingdom was a good place to spend some time especially for family with kids. We had Kobe beef at two places - Mouriya which we chose from recommendation for lunch and Kagura as recommended by Hideo-san. Kagura is a lot more expensive- guess you pay for the teppanyaki showmanship. We didn't have much time for anything else.
I take you to Osaka Castle, Dotombori, Sginsekai and Shinsaibashi Shopping Street. In Osaka you can have Osaka local food such as Okoniomiyaki, Takoyaki, and Kushikatsu. Dotombori is popularly known as "kuidaore", or "eating and drinking until you
