Customer Reviews for Osaka Tours

Nobuyuki was a really good tour guide. This was supposed to be a foodie tour and we enjoyed our dinner eating Osaka’s famous okonomiyaki. We walked around Dotonburi enjoying its sights. Nobuyuki knew a lot about history. We enjoyed our evening with him. Before our tour, Nobuyuki made sure he knew where to bring us to. We had pre tour email exchanges so he knew our preferences. Great experience. view more

Mr Yoshihisa was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, showing us the local sights in Shinsekai and Dotombori, as well as introducing us to eateries that we probably would not have known to go to on our own. Unfortunately, we had recklessly stuffed ourselves at Kuromon Market just shortly before the tour, and so were too full to eat much, but what we did eat was delicious. Great evening out! view more

Seiko was an excellent guide for our all-day tour in Osaka. Prior to our trip, Seiko contacted us to get an idea of where we wanted to visit on our and offered her recommendations as well, since we only mentioned Osaka Castle! We had a packed itinerary and visited many of the popular spots in Osaka/Namba like Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, Minami, (and also the Castle), etc. Seiko also took the time to plan and take us off the beaten path and through some of the older and more "local" areas of the ... view more

It was a fantastic day trip with Mr Shin! He was very patient and accommodating with us. Even though my parents who are not proficient in English were comfortable in communicating with him. He even helped us in booking of the transportation for the rest of my trip. It was really thoughtful of him and we enjoyed his company. We would highly recommend him as a tour guide! view more

Hiroyuki was very well organized, with an itinerary that included a Buddhist temple, a Shinto Shrine, and the very busy "now" street called Dotombori. His English skills are excellent, and his knowledge of the subway stations was really amazing. His pace was adjusted for our jet lag, and he was flexible and willing to drop a market when we were too tired to walk anymore. We would highly recommend him as an excellent guide, and a wonderful ambassador for Japanese culture. view more

We had so much fun with our tour guide Hiroshi. Aside that he speaks good english, he emits good aura to us and make us feel we are not in a foreign country. He is honest, amiable, jolly, punctual; energetic (despite his age), and with a good sense of humor. He goes out of his way to accommodate all possible tourists spots we can see despite time constraint. He even fetches us from the hotel to avoid getting lost. He explains well the heritage and history of a particular place which makes it mor... view more

Toichi picked us up in our Namba hotel at 10 am & took a train ride to Kyoto. I'm really glad we hired him because unlike our 1st trip to Kyoto 2015, we kind of wandered around the city on our own & didn't see much. Aside from his surprisingly great english skills being western educated, knowledge of Japan's history, both friendly & accomodating; with Toichi, we got to see the major attractions like the Inari Shrine, Hojo Rock Garden, Isuien Garden, experienced a traditional Kyoto lunch, saw the... view more

Turned out to be an excellent idea to spend the evening with someone who knows the whereabouts of the city. Great "insider"-food, dishes a foreigner would not even consider to taste since he has no clue that they exist - down to earth dishes and thanks to the local guide immediate interaction with local guests, great fun, lovely people. Experience continued in a Sake Bar ...--> absolute take advantage of someone who knows the backstreets and can bring you closer to every day Japanese live. view more

This was a fun tour - relaxing and got to see the little bars and restaurants - enjoying the local sake and delicious food, followed by the bright lights of Dotonbori. Seiko explained many features of the culture in Osaka which was very interesting. Seiko was a great guide - thoroughly recommend this tour with Seiko especially if you feel like a fun night out. view more
