I was thoroughly impressed with our Licensed Guide, Mac Yokoyama! Mac was there at our Hotel at Kansai Airport to greet us at 8:15 AM. At the beginning of our tour, Mac gave my husband, son and I a written itinerary of our tour with expected times for our visits. He listed all the trains and subways we will need and recommended we use the Osaka Amazing Pass to eliminate needing time to purchase tickets at all the train stations, subways and the buildings we were going to visit. I had made an er... view more
He was very knowledgeable and understanding of our needs. He anticipated delays that could occur and warned me about it so I could plan my trip, which was very thoughtful😃 view more

My wife and I spend two days with Toru-san touring both Osaka and Kyoto. He was extremely knowledgeable not only on every site that we visited but also very informative regarding the many questions that we had involving Japanese culture and history. My wife mentioned several sourvenirs that she was looking to buy for our children and Toru-san knew the best places to shop and prices to spend. I highly recommend Toru-san for your visits to Osaka, Kyoto or his home in Kobe. Thanks again for mak... view more
What can i say about our tour guide Hiro. Except he was our hero. We were on a cruise ship which visited osaka and Kobe over 2 days. Hiro met us at both ports and took us to all the places i had asked before our tour and more. We had a large range of ages from 77 to 14 and he was fabulous with all of us. We nicknamed him google as every question my teenage son asked him about the city we were visiting he had the answer. I would not hesitate to recommend Hiro to be your tour guide. We were not able to communicate to Kaori most of the time because we were busy but she still made a plan on where we are going based on the weather because at that time it was so hot. We went to Dotonbori which we like because it has lots of food to taste. We ate at an authentic Japanese lunch which we love with sake of course. Then after we told her that we were looking for an action figure,we went to find it and it was so expensive that we just left empty handed. We also went to find a matcha... view more
We are so please to meet Moe-san as our tour guide to Kyoto and Osaka. She did her very best to stay with us for a very long time. Eventhough we didnt got to see the places we originally discussed we had a great time with her very much! She is a very sweet lady and she loves kids too. We didnt have time to see the other kyoto/osaka places due to traffic. She brought us to the great Kimono rental in Kyoto to walk around the Bamboo Forest. She knows a lot of history of the places we went to. She i... view more

Kenji-san was good fun, and we spent a very comprehensive day with him as our guide in Osaka. As Japan was experiencing a heatwave, we had to make extra pit stops for resting and hydrating so that stretched the day a little more than the agreed hours but Kenji-san was relaxed about it and made us feel easy and unpressurised by the slight delay. All in all, a very good overview of Osaka in one day. view more
