Tateo is very personable and was so attentive to my husband and I. He really listened to all of our requests. He has a great personaliza, an excellent driver and is so knowledgeable. We had a comprehensive introduction to Okinawa culture and history. We all had a fun time together. We would recommend him as a guide to anyone visiting Okinawa without reservation! view more
Me and my father had an excellent day with Tateo-San. He truly went over and above what we had expected. Great day in Shuri and exploring Okinawa World and somber end to the day at the Peace Memorial. I would recommend him 100% and would book him again when I return to Okinawa. view more

Tateo’s guided tour around Okinawa was so much fun! He is so knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. His English is excellent and his tour really showed us important, special, and unique things about Okinawa that we otherwise never would have known. We particularly enjoyed the traditional dances that he took us to. If you want a glimpse into real Okinawan culture, hire Tateo! Five stars! Domo! view more
Our main objectives for visiting Okinawa were to learn more about the Ryukyuan history, visit key World War II sites, and to learn more about Okinawa culture through pottery, textiles, and agriculture. Tateo listened to our concerns and customized our tour accordingly. Tateo was professional yet our time spent with him was comfortable and enjoyable. Tateo's attention to details and to his clients' interests was evident in many ways. After I made it known that I had a strong fondness for ... view more
Tateo san was at the hotel well before time and that turned out to be a big boon as we could start early and beat the rush at many places. He also got us prime seats at the dance performances at the castle and Eisa show!!! His knowledge and zeal kept us enthused throughout the day and was thoughtful enough to get water and snacks on the go. The most thoughtful thing that he did was to ask us to wait at particular spots as he got the car from the parking lot in a jiffy saving valuable time. Many... view more

An amazing afternoon in Naha with Tateo. He waited patiently for us to disembark our cruise ship and took us straight to Shurijo Castle to see traditional dancing. He then showed us around the castle. He was well informed and has early taken time to think about what he showed us. We then visited Makishi Market where we bought some fish which had been prepared for Sashimi. We then went to one of the restaurants upstairs where Tateo helped us try some of the local delights, and the beautiful sa... view more
