Kahoko picked me up at my hotel and this was extremely helpful because I had limited experience using Tokyo public transit. She is a very knowledgeable person and we were able to communicate well using English. Kahoko shared cultural information with me about the difference between a temple and a shrine; she also shared helpful information about the history of Shintoism and Buddhism and how they eventually merged. We visited several temples and shrines in Kamakura but the highlight of the day for me was the restaurant she took us to for lunch. It was so delightful (best rice i have ever had!) and I really enjoyed our conversation and being able to talk about our different countries and politics. We also had a little time for shopping. I accidentally left my umbrella in the taxi and she helped me to remember where I left it and she made the necessary arrangements for me to get the umbrella back from the taxi driver. At the end of the day Kahoko took me back to the doorstep of my hotel. She insisted. I highly recommend this tour!
Thank you for the kind review! I had such a lovely time with you in Kamakura even though the weather was not that good. You were always ready to enjoy every site. Your smiles and wows made me happy for a whole day. Also I learned so many things from you about the USA now : politics, people's feelings, or even trend. As you are getting used to Japan this time, please come back to Japan with your partner next time. Thank you again and take care!
