Thanks to our guide, sir Jack, for a very informative and hassle-free walking tour. We didn’t know beforehand that it’s Japan’s Golden Week, that tourists flocked the site. Thanks for accepting our family. Man, he walks too fast for a 67 year old guy. We can’t keep up to his pace. Thanks for patiently waiting for us and keeping our children entertained. Twas a very long walk but it was worthwhile. He’s english-speaking skill was a plus too. Kudos to you sir! view more
Hideaki was an excellent guide with a very good english and he have a good knowledge of Nikko. He also answered to my questions about the japanese culture and religion. Also a good advice for a restaurant whith excellent sushi and sashimi. So I recomment Hideaki. Hiroyuki is a very knowledgeable man. Teaching me about the history of Japan and the Edo period. I learned a lot from him. It was during Golden Week in Nikko so it was very crowded so we had to change up the itinerary to a walking distance instead of taking a bus. So the tour was a little shorter and went to less places but what can you do? Still had fun and learned a lot. Thank you for the tour. view more
He is an excellent tour guide for the 7 of us : friendly, professional, informative and patience with our different paces and requests. He manages the time excellently even when our trip was made under such conditions that are beyond his control (rain and crowd). We would highly recommend Aki. view more

Our day ran smoothly with Jack meeting us at Tobu-Nikko station and then travelling back with us to Utsunomiya where we took the Shinkansen to Tokyo. Thanks Jack for a lovely day. view more

Mitsuru (Mark) took my wife and I to see Nikko. I hired a guide as I knew there would be multiple trains to catch, long distances to travel and walk, and I didn't want to stress over navigating train stations and locations. Mitsuru was perfect for us, personable, happy, informative, and thoughtful. He knew the area very well and kept us well informed on everything we saw, and with cultural traditions and practices. His English was excellent and we had a very fun trip with him. He even le... view more
