“ Falling in love with Sado! ”

We had a wonderful 2 days with Fujiko-san at Sado and completely fell in love with the island and its locals. Fujiko-san speaks perfect English and is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Sado and the locals (seems like she knew everyone on the island). Everything was arranged impeccably down to small favours of arranging for a bday dinner for 2 of our companions. Her food choices for the “greedy” Singaporean palate were completely on point, whether it was a lovely Japanese set lunch in an old Japanese Inn or a quaint pasta shop in the middle of old Shukunegi. Fancy a coffee and freshly baked pastries from a baker who was trained in New York? Fujiko-san knew them all! We were genuinely sad to send Fujiko san off on the last day... we can feel her love for the island very keenly and she felt more than just an extremely knowledgeable tour guide. I would love to be back to Sado, and it’s a large part thanks to Fujiko san.

Fujiko:

Hi, Wei san Thank you very much for writing such a heartwarming review of the tour. I know I'm getting older and have become absent-minded, but guiding such a wonderful people like you makes me happy and motivated!! Yes, there are more to discover in Sado and I'm really looking forward to seeing you again with your best friends. また あいましょう!! Fujiko
