My wife and I booked Hiroko for a one-day tour of Nara. I asked to see Horyu-ji, Todai-ji, Kasuga Jinja, and for fun, the Mochi Pounding shop in Nara, Nakatani-dou. Hiroko took us to all the places we wanted to see on trains, busses and on foot, on a fun-filled day, where she provided wonderful background and cultural information on everything we saw and more. She and my wife became like sisters, chatting the whole time. We could not have found a more perfect guide for our trip. Hiroko also took us to a wonderful restaurant to have the famous Nara sushi, Kaki no Ha Sushi, or sushi wrapped in persimmon leaves. It was delicious and a great choice. We highly recommend Hiroko to anyone who needs an English-speaking guide.
Dear John, I am deeply grateful for your kind and generous review. It was my honor and pleasure to be a local guide for intelligent, talented and nice guests like you and Susan. Both of you were also very kind enough to give me gifts from the U.S., and I think of you whenever I look at them. I hope that you will come visit to Japan again sometime in the near future. Please give my kind regards to Susan. Sincerely, Hiroko
