We toured Nara with Masaki and had a fantastic day! He brought us off the beaten path to see Horyuji Temple, which was worth the time, then to Nara Park to play with the deer and see Todaji Temple. Masaki knew his history about each spot and had plenty of stories and information to share. He has a notebook with facts and dates for you to read and was very well prepared. He is also a fantastic photographer and took 100 pictures of us throughout the day on his iPad (shared via Google photos). We w... view more
Hiroyuki-san, was an excellent guide who helped our family for four (including two seniors) minimize costs on transport despite us having to travel in a van. He posted the budget for the entire trip way in advance for our consideration and suggested various alternatives for our consideration before we finalized our itinerary with him. An honest and likeable guide and we would highly recommended to all travellers. view more
Hiroshi was proactive in getting in touch with us before the trip and was happy to customize the trip according to what we wanted to see. He waited patiently as we took our many pictures and was thorough in his explanations along the way. Thank you Hiroshi for spending the day with us! view more
It was a wonderful day trip to Kyoto and Nara on the 19th of December. Mr. Hiro was very punctual and friendly throughout the trip. We appreciated his effort in preparing the itinerary and ensuring a smooth trip for us. It was fun to know about the history behind the temples and historical buildings in Kyoto and Nara as well. We ended the trip early as we became tired at the end of the day. Nonetheless, we had fun and we were glad to have Mr. Hiro as our tour guide. We wish that he can contin... view more
Our driver was punctual, warm and funny. Together with our tour guide which we got through Triple Lights as well, we really had a memorable and enjoyable trip. The van was new and clean. We were pleasantly surprised to get bottled water, umbrellas, wet tissues - all provided in the van. Last but not least, the free wifi kept everyone happy in the van! view more
We had a great November 23 tour with Yoshie. His breadth of knowledge about the sites really enhanced our appreciation of what we were seeing. Yoshie is a very personable, friendly chap who clearly enjoys people and explaining Japanese history and culture. The primary reason for our trip to Japan this time was to see the autumn colours, and we were definitely not disappointed. We strongly recommend Yoshie as your guide! view more

Kazuhiko did a lot of preparation work for my fairly specialized objectives, and our email correspondence before our day together was quite productive. He was pleasant company, too, and knew all the transportation connections to reach my two widespread objectives in Nara, Horyu-ji and the Kasugayama Primeval Forest preserve. view more
