Yoshiharu gave us an interesting and informative tour of Nagasaki including the Atomic Bomb Museum, Peace Park and the Dutch residents area. We also had a delicious lunch of Nagasaki's famous Chinese dish. view more
Two weeks ago Yoshiharu guided myself and three friends around Nagasaki. He was very organized and prepared. He added to our tour of the Peace Park and the Atomic Museum by bringing additional materials to further explain what we were experiencing. Yoshiharu calmly guided us through some very congested places and managed to keep us all together. We all thoroughly enjoyed meeting and spending the day with Yoshiharu and believe he provided us with a wonderful and meaningful day in Nagasaki that w... view more
Tomoo, a very personable guide, kept us on track throughout the day by adjusting to our pace (there were 4 of us) and interests as the day progressed. The light heartedness of visiting children at the Glover Gardens vs the somberness of the Peace Garden required a balance that Tomoo handled very well. He has a great sense of humor, which came in handy when a can of soda exploded on him. Chose Tomoo as your guide view more
Tomoo was knowledgeable and very pleasant to be with. He tried hard to make sure that we saw the major sights in Nagasaki. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate. The humidity and heat were oppressive and we learned that the next time we visit will be in the springtime. view more
My husband and I were visiting Japan for the first time and decided to take a tour of Nagasaki. We were overwhelmed trying to figure out where to go, what to do, and how to get there. We booked a tour with Yuko, and it was such a great decision, she is simply fantastic! She met us at our hotel, and helped us get a day tram pass and showed us how to use the tram. We visited the A-Bomb Museum, The Nagasaki Peace Park, Deijima, and Glover Garden. She is so sweet, helpful, and informative. We never ... view more
Yuko is an outstanding guide. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. She provided us with a lot of information at the various sites we visited, the Atomic Bomb museum, Peace Garden, Dejima, and a shopping arcade. Great tour with a great tour guide. She was also very flexible in terms of our particular interests. Highly recommended. view more
Yuko met us on time and we felt at home with her straight away. Her English was excellent and easily understood. In our short stay in Nagasaki Yuko took us everwhere we wanted and gave us a good understanding of Japanese life and culture. Very good value and we would highly recommend her to anyone contemplating a day in Nagasaki. view more
Yuko met us at the cruise terminal. After a short walk to the tram, we were off to see the highlights of Nagasaki. The tram was very crowded and Yuko worked diligently to keep our small group together. Our first stop was to the interesting Peace Museum. From there we walked to the Peace Park and Yuko told us more about the memorials and Nagasaki. After a couple more tram rides and a little shopping, we returned to the ship. We have nice memories of Yuko and Nagasaki. view more
Yuko, was wonderful. She offered us an excellent tour of Nagasaki. She was able to guide us throughout the city on Street cars and took us to a local restaurant that was really good and specialized in local cuisine. You will have a good time with Yuko. view more
Yuko helped us see so much of Nagasaki. We traveled by foot, street car (how quaint, "the San Francisco of Japan"), and taxi. Yuko met us promptly just outside the exit door of the terminal. We saw everything there was to see in just one day. She helped us order lunch at a local noodle house and showed us how to eat it. Such a good experience overall. We communicated and worked together easily. Nagasaki was fun and Yuko made it even better. view more
