We had a great time in Nagasaki with Hitomi. Her English is excellent, and she is very easy going and flexible. She didn’t rush us along, found toilets when our small group of older people needed them, and walked at a pace that was comfortable. She took us to a great local restaurant for lunch, had us ride the street cars to get around, and made us feel more like locals than tourists. Hitomi was one of our best guides in Japan and we highly recommend her to tourists from the United States. view more

A very polite and pleasant guide with strong command of spoken Enlish. She planned a wonderful one day programme for our group of four. Visits to all places of interest were unrushed, and all questions more than adequately addressed. She was accommodating to our last minute requests, so that we could see the famous Nagasaki night view from Mt Inasaya. To top it all, she even helped to arrange for a wonderful Izakaya dinner experience! She is the only guide I encountered where when the group had... view more

Review by Jo: Hitomi is a marvelous guide: thoughtful, thorough, knowledgeable and flexible. She was able to adjust to the fact that she was guiding 3 folks in their 70’s with walking issues and provide us with doable experiences. We had a wonderful lunch at an historic Nagasaki restaurant mid-day that was so much fun. She has a great sense of humor and we would not hesitate to use Hitomi again or to highly recommend her to others. Thank you Hitomi for an educational and comfortable day. We... view more

Yuko tailored our visit perfectly according to our needs. Yuko met us at the port in Nagasaki and helped us buy our tram tickets. We visited the A-bomb Museum and Peace Park, Dejima as well as a shopping area. It was a perfect tour of Nagasaki for us, our daughter got to dress up in a Kimono and Yuko was very patient and aware of how much the children (aged 6&8) could handle. Yuko has great English and had very insightful knowledge to share. Thanks so much Yuko, it was sad to say goodbye! view more
