“ Kyoto’s peak fall beauty ”

I reached out to Hiroyuki-San months ago and he prepared a detailed by the minute itinerary with bus routes, walking times and schedule. A few days prior to the trip, I requested a few changes and he quickly provided the revised itinerary. Less than 24 hours prior I decided on a different lunch spot and Hiroyuki was ultra flexible is making the amendments. His schedule was transparent that it had all the admission costs and the bus fares so we were well prepared on the expected additional costs, whether or not it was with exact change or whether a bus pass was needed. The trip was well planned, good pace and we didn’t feel rushed. During the trip the weather looked gloomy and Hiroyuki San quickly pulled out the weather forecast like a meteorologist and advised us that the drizzle shall pass quickly! Throughout the tour he had good insights on japanese history and added some humor in his narration as well. Also I made some comments in passing to stop for coffee and try out some takoyaki and he remembered and subsequently brought us to taste some local delights. We truly appreciate his hospitality and his knowledge of Japanese culture, recommendation of local neighborhood gems and historical highlights. Hiroyuki San is very thorough, punctual, entertaining and takes great pictures! Iro iro arigato gozaimasu!

Dear Mei, I very much appreciate your prompt, detailed and five-star rated review on the tour with me. I really had a pleasant time with such a nice couple like you and Sherman yesterday in spite of a bit chilly day. I hope the tour will be of help understand something about Japan and Japanese people. I look forward to seeing you again in the near future. Best regards, Hiroyuki
