I really enjoyed spending the day exploring Arashiyama with Keiko. She was very kind and shared her culture and knowledge of the beautiful old temples and shrines we visited. I love the pace of biking to get from place to place. The bamboo forest is enchanting. We enjoyed a simple picnic lunch by the river. A highlight for me was visiting the monkey park.

Keiko:
Hello Helen, I am very glad to receiving your message and that you enjoyed my tour. It was very hot but the picnic lunch and the monkey park were really fun! Baby monkeys were so adorable. We also talked about religions a lot by visiting temples and shrines, I hope that became good experience to you. I would like to say "Thank you for joining in my tour and I hope to see you soon!" Best regards, Keiko

“ Wonderful tour ”

Knowledgeable and kind. Keiko brought us to many beautiful areas of Arashiyama. This was an excellent experience and would recommend to our friends! Many thanks Keiko!

Keiko:
Dear Erin, I am very happy to hear from you. It was not so nice weather, but you were very lucky to have seen the autumn colors which encapsulate the beauty of Arashiyama. Of course, each season has its own beauty so if you have a chance, please visit Arashiyama again in other seasons! Thank you again for joining my tour. I hope I can see you again sometime soon. Best regards, Keiko

Dear Emanuela, Thank you for your message and coming all the way from Bulgaria. I am very glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour in Kyoto. I hope you had a great time at Japanese tea ceremony, too, which was one of your main purposes of the tour. We talked a lot about "wabi sabi" feeling, please remember it on occasions and the day in Kyoto. Thank you again and please send my regards to your family. Best regards, Keiko

“ Wonderful day trip ! ”

We had a wonderful day trip in Kyoto with Keiko. She is knowledgable, well-Organised and very thoughtful of her class client's needs. Right from the time we contacted her first, she was guiding us over the triplelight message board on how to plan for the trip. She fully understood her constraints (with a 3 yr old child) and planned the day accordingly. She accommodated the slight delay in the start of the day and made sure we finished our entire itinerary on time. Her knowledge of the city and English communication is very good. Highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a guided tour in Kyoto.

Keiko:
Dear Dattatreya, thank you for your message. I am very glad to hear from you. When I first received your message, I strongly wanted to be your help because I really know it is not easy to travel around with a small child(But your daughter was a good girl!). Nothing would please me more than that you enjoyed my tour and made a lot of memories in Kyoto. Please send my regards to your family. Thank you again, and I look forward to seeing you sometime soon! Arigatou!! Best regards, Keiko

“ Keiko was excellent! ”

Keiko was so kind to adjust to the changes we requested for the tour. She communicated with us consistently and we are very thankful that we got to meet her. We loved our Arashiyama Tour with her and it was such a lovely day spent in Kyoto with all the best tourist spots checked from our itinerary with perfectly calculated timing. My Mom and I are glad to gain a friend in Keiko and we will surely be booking her again when we come back... Arigatou Gozaimasu, Keiko and TripleLights!

Keiko:

“ A Fascinating View of Kyoto ”

Keiko is a Kyoto native and knows her city well. The Arashiyama area of the city, outside the centre, is home to the famous Bamboo Forest and to many amazing temples and shrines. Doing a cycle tour allowed us to see so much more in a day than doing a similar route on foot, and I strongly recommend this tour. Keiko guided us round a logical route through the area, offering a great insight into the history and cultural significance of the buildings we visited. Please do consider this wonderful tour - you won't regret it!

Keiko:
Hello Sean, I am very glad to receive your message. At first, I really worried about the weather, but it recovered by a miracle and we could visit more places by bicycle! I also had a great time with you, exchanging a lot about Japan and UK. Your gifts were very nice, thank you very much. If you have chance to come to Kyoto again, let's visit Arashiyama one more time. The river must be so calm....!! Thank you again for joining my bike tour, I look forward to seeing you sometime soon! Best regards, Keiko
