“ Patient and Knowledage guide ”

We had Kenji for our day tour in Osaka on 12 April 2017. Despite a rainy day, we enjoyed ourselves with Kenji's planned itinerary and also his services. He was patient with our questions and shared with us the history of the Osaka Castle and the Sho-guns - making the Castle visit interesting. We liked the Cherry blossom mint - there are so many types of cherry blossoms. Because of the rain, it was difficult to take picture as it was too cold and wet. Also, we had to keep moving so that the place will not jam up. As we were making our way to Kyoto after the tour and had requested Kenji to bring us to the Osaka station and showed us the Kyoto train platform. Kenji gladly agreed and he personally led us to the Kyoto train platform. He also made sure we were aware of the timing of the next 2 trains before taking his leave to his own train platform. Thank you once again, Kenji!

Kenji:
Dear Grace Thank you for your polite and wonderful review of the private tour. Regarding to cherry blossom viewing it was the best timing and place in Osaka especially at Osaka Mint. It was shame for us that the better weather could have made it much more enjoyable. I hope you could spend good time in Kyoto as well. I expect your next visit to Japan again in future. thanks, Kenji

“ Kenji is a patient and knowledgeable guide ”

Kenji arrived an hour early from our departure time and patiently waited for us at the lobby of our apartment. He showed us shrine, temples, observatory deck and Hep Ferris Wheel. He's very thoughtful - he made sure we ride an elevator instead of stairs so that my Dad will not tire easily. He also gave us a gift -a pad origami papers for each of us. In return, my children made fortune teller and crane (out of the origami paper he gave us) as a remembrance from them. We hope that you will keep the photo we gave you to remember us. Hope to get your service again when we go to Japan.

Kenji:
Dear Tessa, Thank you for your great review. I'm very glad that you and your family could enjoy the private tour. I was so surprised to find that your children were already good at folding origami paper when I gave it to them. The paper crafts they gave to me became my nice remembrance. I'll also keep the nice photo with your family as a treasure and look forward to seeing you again. I hope your wishes with "five big power" will come true by your next visit to Japan. Thanks again, Kenji

Kenji has been a very useful guide, we couldn't have travelled without his suggestions and precious support: train and bus timetable, common life tips and zen or religious information, just 3 fields he perfectly share with us. Thanks, Kenji!

“ Informative and enjoyable ”

Kenji did an excellent job of compiling a tour for my family taking into consideration what we particularly wished to see in the time available. We visited major cultural sites such as Fushimi Inari shrine and Kiyomizu-dera Temple as well as walking through interesting areas such as Gion, Niseki markets and Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. His choice of restaurant for our lunch was appreciated as it was housed in a traditional building, in an area we would never have found by ourselves and served delicious Japanese food. Kenji was very organised. He purchased our rail tickets before meeting us and provided us with a timeline to explain the historical periods of Kyoto. I would highly recommend Kenji if you are considering a tour of Kyoto.

Kenji:
Dear Lynn Thank you for your excellent review. I'm very glad that you and your family enjoyed my private tour in Kyoto. I could also enjoyed guiding you and your nice family. As you know Japan is a small nation but there are so many spots to visit and things to experience for each season especially in Kyoto. I hope you will be able to visit Japan again and enjoy more in near future. Thanks, Kenji
