My teenage daughter and I recently spent a day with Kenji touring the major sites of Kyoto. I found him to be extremely well-prepared, knowledgeable, friendly and flexible. His English was excellent and he was a terrific ambassador for a fascinating city and country. I heartily recommend taking a tour with him. But be prepared for a lot of walking! We were exhausted by the end of the day!
Kenji was very patient with me from the planning stage to the day of the tour. He was flexible and easy to talk to. I highly recommend him for your future tours. Thank you Kenji :-)
Very nice and responsible.
Kenji was very helpful and he came really prepared. He listened to all our requests for our customized tour and gave us quite a memorable day! :) He also assisted us in procuring Japanese souvenirs/collectibles that we really want to bring home. He even went beyond and gave us helpful information about some other places we want to see but cannot fit into our day anymore. We highly recommend Kenji to anyone who needs a guide in this area. :)
Very good schedule. We covered several sites within one day. Traveling via bus and trains wad an interesting experience.
We very much enjoyed our time with Kenji. We especially appeciated his written summary of Japanese history which helped put our visits into perspective. And his understanding of history, which was greater than other guides we have used, made each site more meaningful. He was very flexible and focused on sites most meaningful to us. He also took us to lunch at a wonderful traditional Japanese restaurant. I would strongly recommend Kenji if you want to see and understand Kyoto.
