He brought a little booklet and has printouts for teaching us about the different symbols at the temples and shrines we went to. He was so knowledgeable and easy to get along with. He showed us how to respectfully enter the temples and shrines. He even helped us get on the train to our next stop Osaka. We seriously would have been lost without him and he was very patient and extrem... view more

Hero is very knowledgeable, and more importantly a pleasure to spend time with while touring Kyoto and Osaka. He is quite the foodie and will highlight the better restaurants in the area by comparing 3 different foodie sites to choose the right one for you! We ate and drank our way around, also touring the many beautiful sites of the area, and all the while Hero took fabulous photos for us. This way we could soak it all in without having to look through a lens. So appreciated 🥰. view more

She met us at our ship terminal in traditional kimono and guided us through the train and metro systems to reach the sights we wanted to see. We toured Nijo Castle and it's grounds, had a Japanese lunch at a cafe, and did the tea ceremony and dancing with maiko. Yuriko told us many things about life in Japan and was knowledgeable about all the sights. We highly recommend Yuriko as a guide. view more
