Seiko was adorable! Energetic and knowledgeable, she guided us through Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kiyomizu-dera, Gion, Nishiki Market, and Arashyama. We had a fun-filled day walking the streets of Kyoto learning about the culture, tasting local foods and taking pictures of the beautiful scenery. Yoshie was absolutely fantastic. He was very nice and accommodating, and helped specialize the tour and sites to meet our individual wants/desires. Yoshie was very informative and provided insight to details that we would not have noticed without him. It was a pleasure to spend the day with Yoshie and we would recommend him to anyone visiting Kyoto. view more

We hired Masaki (Makoon) for 2 days while we were in Kyoto. He was exactly what we weee looking for. My kids absolutely loved him and his tour. He was so knowledgeable about Japanese history (including the Relstiknships between the Shogun and the Emperor) and was able to explain it to our children in such a fun and easy way. He has his own car so we were able to avoid the hot days when we traveled from different sites. He took us to the popular sites and even some less frequented sites that w... view more

We loved getting to know Toshiyo. She is very energetic and a fast walker, which I loved. She is a hiker so can keep up with the best of them. She showed us all over Kyoto by bus and provided fast facts along the way. The restaurant we went to for lunch, owned by a tea company, was delicious. She also was a great photographer and got excellent shots of us. I would highly recommend her. view more
