Kaori greeted us with a huge smile and made sure we could get about Kobe very effectively. She had gone out of her way to find somewhere tasty and interesting for lunch and because both of us had an interest in textiles she found a wonderful weaving class we could take. The time spent with Kaori was very enjoyable. She gave us an insight into how to get about Kobe which was invaluable. Would highly recommend a tour with Kaori. view more

Shinichi guided us for 2 days; first in Kyoto and then in Kobe. With our permission in advance, he hired a taxi for the day in Kyoto as it was extremely crowded (cherry blossoms) and getting around by public transportation was extremely difficult. In Kobe, we used public buses and then went by rail to visit Himeji Castle. Throughout Shinichi was very pleasant, flexible, professional and caring. He also arranged for a couple of lunches in small, typical Japanese restaurants that we enjoyed imm... view more
