It's a blessing to have a guide like ISAO and we are very lucky to have him with us. Not only he , the weather and waterfall with full of noise made our day. An excellent guide having full knowledge of history and culture of Japan. Kudoos to ISAO view more
Ko was a terrific guide, His English was exceptional. We had sent him a list of places we wanted to visit, and had hoped he could fit them all in. Not only did he cover them all, but he included places that aren’t on the normal list of ‘places to see’ in the tour books. They were some of our favorite stops! We also mentioned some items we wanted to shop for. Because Ko grew up in Kyoto, he knew great, inexpensive shops and stopped at those for us to shop. We got great treasures for reasona... view more
Kosuke was very nice, and easy to work with. He knows his way around, the shortcuts saved us more time against traffic. Very informative and his deep knowledge of food, local coffee and restaurant at less touristy areas made our day brighter. Will definitely recommend Kosuke for anybody, especially family with young kids. view more

6 of us were guided by Mr Kazuhiro in both Kyoto and Kobe. He was an attentive informative guide, the fastest walker any of us had ever encountered! We covered a lot of ground and thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. view more

My son and I spent the day touring Himeiji with Shogo. He was so kind to meet us at our ryokan in Arima Onsen, as I am sure we never could have negotiated our way to Kobe to meet him! He had everything organized and kept us on schedule. We saw the castle and the gardens. A wonderful day! view more
Kazuhiko met us at the cruise terminal in Kobe and took us on a trip around the city visiting a sake brewery, Nunobiki Herb Garden and the Kitano merchant houses. We used public transport on our first day and with Kazuhiko's help, it was quick and easy to travel around. We spent our second day in Kyoto and although heavy traffic prevented us from visiting the last place on our itinerary, we enjoyed the day. Kazuhiko has good Englished and he was very informative about the history of the place... view more
We arrived in Kobe on a 13 day around Japan cruise. We wanted to make the most of our time, so we wanted to find a guide who would take us to Kyoto on one day and then spend the other half day in Kobe. Maddie was the perfect choice. She picked us up at 9 AM at the port terminal and navigated through local subways and trains to get us to Kyoto in time to see four different strains, returning at 7 PM I would never have been able to see as much, in a leisurely fashion, on our own. It is not of... view more
We had less than a day in Kobe and we wanted to be guided to the highlights and Chuji did just that. He was well prepared and very informative and gave us a full day visiting the Maiko Bridge, Kobe Port, Motomachi, sake brewery and even time for a Kobe beef lunch amongst other things, like the bakery. What topped it off is he graciously guided us from our end point of the tour, our hotel, to the bus terminal that we needed to leave from with all our luggage. Such service!! view more
We are very lucky to have Mr Zumi as our tour guide for Osaka, Kobe and kyoto. Mr Zumi drove us around in his car and he was always punctual to pick us up. He is a very careful driver who takes great care of our safety. He communicates well in English and is very thoughtful with his itinerary as we have two seniors in our group. view more
