Yoshiko is an excellent guide whom I recommend to anyone visiting Kagoshima. She stayed with stayed with us at each stop & was very pleasant, engaging, informative, and patient (I hurt my knee on my first day in Japan). She provided an excellent overview of Kagoshim and provided interesting information on Mt Sakurajima (active volcano) and was able to reference it to the our own Kilauea volcano (Hawaii). She also took us to the beautiful Senganen Garden & she told us interesting information on the where believe the Shimazu clan Lord designed the 🇯🇵 flag). In the Senganen Garden, Yoshiko showed us the 200 yr old huge pine tree that was leaning & was going to be cut down because of its hollow trunk. She also pointed out the intricate cut glass work of the Satsuma Kiriko (we made purchases in the shop there). Yushiko graciously shared her wedding picture at Shiroyama Hotel to give us an idea of a Japanese wedding and its the cost (very expensive). She took us to Terukuni Shrine She took us to a Daiso store where we all made some purchases. In the Daiso store basement, Yoshiko found and saved us an open table for all six of us while we purchased our lunch great place to eat with all kinds of food choices. What more can one ask for. Great sightseeing with informative and engaging guide, n, interesting places to visit, and great food. Thanks Yoshiko for a wonderful tour.
Hello, Laurence. How are you doing? It is my pleasure! I also had a great time with you. If you have a chance to Japan again, please drop by Kagoshima again. Please say hello to your wife and your friends for me. Take care! Thank you so much for the tour and the great rating.
