Chizuru was a great guide for my daughter and myself on a day trip to Naoshima Island. The logistics of getting to Naoshima and then getting around the island via busses were more than I wanted to plan, particularly with a child in tow, so it was great to be able to just relax and let someone guide us. She was also quite knowledgeable with respect to the art/architecture that we saw. I’d definitely recommend Chizuru as a guide. view more
Thanks for great tour of Naoshima. Your preparation was excellent, and we enjoyed a very smooth, fun tour! view more
Chizuru was an excellent guide, and she did an outstanding job helping us move quickly and comfortably to and from Naoshima Island by way of the Okayama Train Station, where she met our family on the morning of our day trip from Kyoto. We are a family of three adults, and we only had one day available to see Naoshima. She sheparded us from Okayama to Uno Station, then the ferry to and from the Island. We covered the Chichu Art Museum, the Benesse House Art Collection and the Art District in Honm... view more
Aki was a great guide. He took us to all the places we were interested in and was flexible in his plans given our interests and needs. He clearly knew his way around the island and all the museums. Couldn't have asked for more. view more
From Osaka, with Aki guiding us, we arrived on Naoshima. If it weren’t for Aki I’m afraid we’d still be wandering aimlessly around. While on the island; Aki’s knowledge of the architect represented here and the designers/artists was great. With his guidance we could just follow as had clear understanding Of how to navigate the island. This provided a pleasureable day. As I got a sense of his services and then began arranging the itinerary, Aki was incredibly quick in his responses to my many o... view more
Naoshima was a lovely day-trip destination from our port in Takamatsu. Our guide, Aki, arranged for a high speed boat for our 6-member group to travel to and from the island, which was a bracing trip and a great way to go (faster and less crowded than the ferry). We had a lovely day looking at modern art on the island, including the spectacular and very unusual Chichu art museum. Aki was very pleasant, full of information, was easy to understand (his diction is excellent), and knew how to neg... view more
We arranged a day tour of Naoshima art island with Chizuru from Azamara Quest, which docked at Takamatsu. Chizuru is charming lady, superb tour guide and speaks excellent English. It was easy to detail our day via the Triplelights website beforehand. She met us on the island having given us clear instructions on which ferry to take as she came from elsewhere. We saw far more in Naoshima than we would have done on our own or on a ship’s tour. Chizuru knew the time of all the buses and loca... view more

Chizuru spent a lot of time before our tour trying to find and organize some specific requests we had for our special hobby interests. Chizuru knows how to fade into the background when you are happily occupied ,but to step forward immediately when you have need for her. She was very solicitous of my bad knee, always pointing out a ramp, elevator, to aid me. Finally, Chizuru is friendly and charming to be with. Her English speaking ability is good, you will be able to understand her. I highly r... view more
Chizuru is the perfect guide! She adapts to your time schedule, your interests. She knows a lot about everything you see, she is the perfect time manager to visit as much as possible without putting pressure on anyone and helped us a lot with the travel preparations to Naoshima. We would recommend her to anyone! view more
With Chizuru as my guide for two days, I was able to fully experience and enjoy Naoshima Island. She greeted me in Okayama and shepherded me from there on in. I didn’t have to figure out transport, tickets, timings or food or accommodations – just fully enjoy the place. Chizuru’s English is very good and we discussed many topics, not just the art and architecture. Having the two days meant that the pace was easy AND we got to see everything. A very professional guide, she is also kind, gra... view more
I had a wonderful day out with Chizuru. She was very professional from the moment she picked up me from Okayama Station to delivering me to the Shinkansen Platform. Chizuru took me to all the places that I requested on my itinerary and shared interesting bits of information about the art we saw, buildings and life on the island. The route that she took me around the island was very scenic and interesting. I loved it. Thank you. view more
