My dad wanted to visit Hiroshima and I booked him for a day tour with Keiko. He enjoyed the tour and said that, although he could have visited the sites on his own, he would not have appreciated it as much if not for the stories and context that Keiko shared. He also shared with me after the tour that he also learnt a little more about Japanese culture and customs from their conversations. He commented that he would recommend her to friends if they needed a guide for Hiroshima. Reservations ... view more
Visiting Hiroshima is bound to be a moving and also disturbing experience. Azusa was a great companion and guide on this journey. She put together an excellent itinerary, including the use of JR bus (free with rail pass), and she accommodated our preferences both in the planning and on the spot. We learned a lot from Azusa and appreciated our conversations, and instead of feeling overwhelmed and lost, we were able to participate actively in the lantern floating, thus sharing in the common appeal... view more

Keiko is a delightful person and a thoughtful, knowledgeable guide. We had easy and helpful communication prior to our arrival and Keiko helped us devise a plan for our short visit to Hiroshima. We are a family of 5, with children aged 16,13 and 10 - she gave us a fascinating and insightful tour of the Peace Park and Memorial museum, explaining in an accessible way - for all of us - the key historical events. This is a must see experience and made so much more memorable by Keiko’s sensitive and ... view more

Kazumi was a very kind and gracious guide. She met us promptly at 9 at the Hiroshima station and had a full day of activities around Miyajima and Hiroshima for us. She was quite knowledgeable and friendly and even took us to a delicious Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki for lunch. We would definitely recommend her view more
Kazumi was fantastic! We had a great tour of the Hiroshima Peace Museum with her-it was a somber experience. Although we are Japanese-American, both of my parents were in Japan during the atomic bombing of Hiroshima so it was extremely sad to see the effects. We had an absolutely delicious lunch of okonomiyaki-Kazumi suggested we get 3 different ones and we all share so that we can try different ones-what a great suggestion and it was so yummy!! Miyagima Island was beautiful! We thought the To... view more

We highly recommend our guide, Michiru, who was responsible and nice and created a great itinerary for us for the day. We adjusted our plans several times because of not knowing the train schedule, and we appreciated Michi's flexibility in adjusting our itinerary to fit the time we had. From the moment we saw Michi waiting for us at the train station in Hiroshima to the time we left, she took care of us and offered helpful insight into the history and experience of people in Hiroshima.
