Hello, my name is Yasuro (Mr). I was born and brought up in Kansai, graduated from a univ in Kobe city, after moved into Kanto, 30 years in Tokyo, 2.5 years in Nagoya city, 7.5 years abroad (KL & S'pore) as a rep of a construction company and I got the National Guide Certificate in 2011. My hobbies are making Haiku poems, singing various songs (voice-training for 18 years), playing the folk-guitar, trekking in mountains like Takao and Okutama in the West of Tokyo, visiting museums like in Ueno Park and travelling around Japan to make Haiku poems.
Thank you for your attention.
I was born and grew up in Yokohama. I used to work in Tokyo for more than 20 years. I've got the national license of a tour guide in English in 2013. At first, I had attended a volunteer group which provided a tour of the Imperial Palace East Gardens until 2015. I guided more than fifty times in the garden as a volunteer and studied about Japanese history and culture. Based on this experience, I became a tour guide of TripleLights in 2015.
Since then, I have guided more than 500 tours in Tokyo as well as Yokohama, Kamakura, Hakone, Kyoto, Nikko, etc., while improving my tours. My tours are very flexible and I always do my best to customize them according to the interests of my guests. I studied about the places and will provide you knowledge to appreciate them more deeply than just visiting there by yourself or a member of group tours. I like foods and I know many restaurants which provide typical Japanese lunch with reasonable price without waiting too long. Therefore, I am sure that I can provide you the best tours customized to your interests. It will be my great pleasure to help you to enjoy your stay in Japan. So please be my guest!!
Hi, I’m your guide Mayumi. As I have long experience in teaching Japanese history and Japanese as well as English at a cram school, I'm sure I can help you learn Japanese culture, history, and traditions. And I love playing in the nature, such as scuba diving, riding uphill, and hiking in the wilderness. It's also my pleasure to guide you to not only Central Tokyo but also the calm, beautiful rural areas. Let me know your interests, I'll make the best tour for you. Please contact me. I'm looking forward to seeing you soon!
My name is Yukiko. I'm a Licensed Guide and a Registered Nurse. Thanks to increasing number of repeat, referred and new clients, tour guide is my current main job.
I was born and raised in Tokyo. After passing National tour guide examination, I have been worked as a professional tour guide since 2015. I've experienced to guide in various area near Tokyo as well as in Nagano, Kyoto and Osaka. I can do a tour for a wide range of clients such as solo traveler, couple, family, mobility challenged client and a big group. I am a mother of eight years old girl. So I'd be glad to welcome families with young children as well.
I used to teach Japanese cultures to elementary students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 at local and private elementary schools when I lived in Canada, United states, and New Zealand (2005-2006). My happiest moments with these children were when they look forward to another lesson every week. All lessons were customized and prepared after discussing with each classroom teacher. It was a challenging job, but this experience broaden my horizon and prompted me to become an English tour guide.
I also have a license of Registered Nurse and a Medical interpreter. I've still worked as a nurse during off- tourism season so that I've kept a medical back ground. There is a common thinking between Tour guide and Nurse, both jobs are required to put myself into their shoes. I'll make plans considering their physical conditions and arrange any supports after discussing about the tour. I've experienced to do several tours for mobility challenged clients who have intractable disease and have a difficulty for long walking. Mobility challenged customers (cane/wheelchair) are always welcomed.
I'd love to make your trip meaningful and unforgettable. Please feel free to contact with me anytime.
I'm looking forward to meeting you in my tour! Arigatou!
