before the trip: communication was prompt. she provided clear instructions and offer various option on our transportation based on where we stayed. she provided suggestions on the activities we would like to do and advise on the weather for the trip. during the trip: she shared the various history of the roads that we went past while we were on our way to Hakone on the bus. she also allowed us to move around at our own pace and did not feel rushed throughout the trip. after the trip: she also gave a lot of tips and suggestions on where to go overall, a good experience and i highly recommend Toshi for anyone who would like to travel to Japan.
Hi J-chan and Soh-chan! It was fun to see a loving couple enjoying My Hakone! The silence made Hakone Shrine’s atmosphere feel more sacred. I do hope your wishes come true soon! Wasn’t it nice to have the place practically to ourselves? We hardly saw anyone during the short walk along the old Tokaido highway (Cedar Avenue) to Sekisho (Checkpoint). The Lake Ashi area was beautiful, but we barely scratched the surface of Hakone’s charms. Let’s check out the museums on the other side of Hakone next time! Hope to see you again!
