We had two amazing days with Tomoko. We are a group of 8 range from 6 yo to 77 yo. It was the best decision ever to have Tomoko to meet us at the airport on early morning. She helped to send our luggages to Kyoto and Tokyo hotels, activated our JR pass, SUICA cards and sort out our light snacks at 7-11- and not forgetting to teach us how to unwrap the rice balls. We spent the first day at Asakusa, UENO and Akihabara. Tomoko is well-verse in English, have such fun and warm character. She go... view more

Once acquainted with Tomoko, my husband and I knew we were in great hands. She toured us around the Asakusa area of Tokyo, the Ueno gardens and Sensoji Temple, and Tomoko’s insight was as wonderful as her company. On day two, Tomoko led us on a fantastic adventure to Hakone that included time at a beautiful onsen. We had such a good time (Tomoko included), and it felt like my husband and I were on vacation with a (very knowledgeable) friend. If you’re planning a trip to Tokyo, don’t hesitate to ... view more

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time in Hakone thanks to having Eiko-san as our guide. Since the popular Owakudani Valley and ropeway were off limits to tourists during our stay, Eiko emailed us ahead of time to plan an alternate itinerary that would still allow us to experience all of the great things Hakone had to offer. It was a very tight schedule, but she remained flexible throughout the day and always checked with us before making decisions about what to do next, which we appreciated v... view more
Hideaki San is indeed very professional, prompt with correspondence, detailed in his itineraries, and accurate in his estimate of out of pocket expenses, just like what others said. He is gentle, caring, and knows how to lead us well. Among the nine of us, some wanted to linger around taking photos while others could not wait to move on. Hideaki San managed that. Ours was a one day tour in Hakone. We started out from Tokyo. Later, we enjoyed the cruise on Lake Ashinoko, the view of Mount Fuji, t... view more
We had a great day with Yukiko. She planned a great day for us. We hiked a few kilometres of the old Tokyo to Kyoto path after visiting the old tea room. Saw everything on our list. She is very friendly and easy to work with. Two of our party were nurses in Australia so it was great to learn about the Japanese health system from her. view more

I highly recommend Yasuro as a guide in Japan. He is a pleasure to be with and very knowledgeable in getting around the public transit system. In 2 days we used the subway, bullet trains, cable cars, ferry ride on the lake, and many taxis. Thanks for such a pleasant trip in Tokyo. I hope our paths cross again someday. view more
