Awesome tour guide! Took us to Shirakawago and Takaoka. First time for our group to have a tour guide and we enjoyed every minute. Attentive to our religious background, foods, and etc. Our group loved sushi at Takaoka. FYI- If you go to Shirakawago, make sure to have lots of 100 yen coins with you. Some of the places at shirakawago charges entrance fee which ranges from 200-400 yen. The bus which takes you up to the observation point was 200 yen I think. Our group had fun! view more

Tetsuji and I planned the trip together where I indicated what interested us and he gave us helpful suggestions. On the day of the tour he met us at the hotel and we traveled together to the museums (Feather, Traditional Swordsmith Museum) and a knife factory, where he had arranged a personal tour by the factory president! As we had time we before our scheduled train to Tokyo Tetsuji took us on a short walk to old Minoota. We would highly recommend Tetsuji. view more
Michiko was an excellent guide. Her enthusiasm for the job is obvious. Her ideas of what to visit in Shirakawa and lunch suggestion were excellent. We had a much better experience visiting with Michiko as our guide than we would have had on our own. I highly recommend Michiko. view more
We were terribly delayed getting off the cruise ship. Tetsuji was very kind, although he waited a long time. Adjusted our schedule very well. We had a terrific lunch and he got us back to the ship on time. Highly recommended. A true gentleman. view more
I am so happy that my first experience with TripleLights was with Tetsuji-san! He was very knowledgeable about many things in Gifu and so very friendly! Tetsuji-san's command of English was also very good! My friend and I greatly enjoyed our tour of Gifu with Tetsuji-san. Tetsuji-san was extremely flexible with our itinerary, I had time to do a bit of exploring on my own and ended up going to some of the places on our original itinerary so Tetsuji-san modified it for us. He took us to thi... view more

Tetsuji guided our clients in Seki city. He was excellent to work with prior to the tour and helped arrange all the tour details. He went out of his way to assist these passengers and even provided a discount for the entrance to visit the Swordsmith museum. I'm sure our passengers had a great tour and we will be using Tetsuji's services again in the future! view more
We had a wonderful tour with Tetsuji in Gifu. My wife and I took my elderly parents on an extended tour of Japan. The Cormorant fishing tour guided by Tetsuji was one of the highlights of our visit. He was conscientious about our needs and adjusted the tour to keep with my parents pace. He was engaging, open and friendly. Tetsuji connected with my father especially well as they shared similar interest in feudal Japanese history. We became quick friends. We can't recommend Tetsuji highly enough.... view more
Our trip to Takayama may have been tainted with bad weather but thanks to our tour guide, Takahiro, who made our short stay somehow worth the while. We were not able to do much because of the heavy rain that day and the necessity to leave Takayama right away because of storm warning, but he patiently tried his best to make us feel comfortable and let us see some important city sights and have us taste great local food. view more
Tetsuji was very nice and enjoyable to be with. He was flexible in terms of our adding places we wanted to see in Takayama. His English is very good. When we asked questions he couldn't answer, he worked hard to find someone who could answer them. We know that Tesuji is fairly new to this, and expect that he will gain more knowledge of Takayama as he takes more clients there. view more
