Yoko was both warm and professional. Yoko went above and beyond requirements in providing beautiful hair ornaments that her own mother had hand crafted. Yoko was very organised in booking the rental of formal kimonos for us to wear, the professional photography service, and she guided us at Kushida Shrine. Yoko was with us through the whole process and made our experience very calm and enjoyable. We totally recommend her for other English speaking tourists. view more
Tomoko is an amazing and beautiful person, aside from being an absolutely fantastic guide. If you want a custom tour to suit your exact needs, she's the one! From start to finish, Tomoko went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests. I had given her a general idea of what we wanted to do (such as watching a sumo practice) Tomoko did the research and gave us several options for our custom tour. We were even able to make adjustments on the fly to the itinerary (we ended up going to a diffe... view more

Mr Tadashi is a thoughtful and knowledgable gentleman. He communicates with me on quite a few occasions, to make sure I have a good understanding of the tour, and even updated me on the weather few days before. My wife does not consume eel but that happened to be the only dish the rerestaurant serves for lunch. He help in solving the problem, and even brought a cold pack on the day just in case she buys something that needed chilling! When my friend needed to buy some local products, he went out... view more

Fumi met us at the pier to take us to Dazaifu. Very beautiful shrine surrounded by so many impressive years-old camphor and plum trees. The history itself was just fascinating. Before returning to the ship, we had a kaiseki dinner which was so unique in its presentation and flavour.Just exquisite! Thanks Fumi for a wonderful and memorable day in Fukuoka! view more
Picked up at noon from the cruise terminal in Fukuoka for a 6 hours private tailored tour in Kokura and surroundings. Visited the castle, the market, attended a maccha tea drink/ceremony and then went on to the kanmon straits ports (Mojiko and through the tunnel to Shimonoseki) before heading back to Fukuoka. Fumi planned the tour, made changes to it when due and in whole made any effort that we get the most of our tour. A very nice person, diligent and very much familiar with the area. Recom... view more
