Customer Reviews for Fukuoka Tours

We spent a very fruitful 4 and a half hour with Nao as we learned so much from her and it surprised me to learn how much Chinese, Japanese and Korean cultures have borrowed and learned from each other - becoming richer and more unique in the intervening centuries. As we were on a cruise, time management was a critical issue so we restricted our sightseeing to the Hakata district and enjoyed the walk as well as snacks which we tried at Nao's suggestion. We had a great day in Fukuoka with Yoshiharu-san. His English is excellent and he was able to give us a lot of interesting information about the sites we saw – a temple, a shrine, and the fantastic Fukuoka tower. He also took us to a tea house where we experienced sitting on tatami mats and drinking green tea – his explanation made That visit a lot of fun. He was sensitive to the different energy levels in our small group of three, so we all ended up having a wonderful day. Highly recommended! view more

My family and I enjoyed our special day with Tadashi. He is knowledgeable, personable and is eager to please. He went above and beyond his duty and was flexible with the time we had with him. Although we had been to the Fukuoka area before, we didn't know much about the history or highlights. But, this time, with Tadashi's expertise, we learned a lot and visited places we had not known about before. His command of English is excellent and has a good sense of humor. Definitely, we would hire... view more
