Miwi did a very good job explaining the history in Oga. She took us to many places within the peninsula and took the time to stop and see the best views. She is friendly and very considerate. I would defintely hire her again. view more

Toru did a great job of helping us pick sights to see as well as lunch location. We had a good discussion with the head of a Buddhist temple. The Oga Peninsula was a great place to visit. We were also able to see the competition during the day for the Akita Kanto Festival. We definitely recommend him to others and would utilize his services in the future. view more
Toru met as planned in the arrival hall and quickly guided us to the shuttle transport to the train station, because a special train had been laid on by Akita town, and the first 100 passengers were free! We wre amongst the 100! Our guide was easy to talk to and his English was good. He showed us the sites of Akita, which he & I had discussed via e-mail. He was very concerned that we visisted a Japanese restaurant that served gluten free products because my wife is a ceoliac. He succeeded an... view more
Nobu made valuable suggestions at the planning stages to enable informed decisions. On a wet, rainy and cold day when we travelled from Morioka to the Naruko and Gembikei gorges, he was a ray of sunshine by his polite manner, detailed information about the area and considerate attention he paid to the group before the sun actually graced the Naruko gorge with its presence. We had a very pleasant day with Nobu. Wishing him all the very best in life and his profession. view more

Akiko spent a lot of time organising and researching so that we had a perfect day. We had a fabulous time and enjoyed the special effort made by Akiko. Our agenda went smoothly and we had the best opportunity to spend time at the Samurai houses with the families before it became busy. I would recommend Akiko to anyone looking for a tour as you will be very well looked after. view more
Toru was a great guide and very polite and professional. He organized a plan for a day in Akita for our group of 4 and it was very well put together. If I could provide constructive criticism there were a few areas to improve upon. First there was about two hours in the vehicle where Toru could spend more time talking to us about the area and points of interest. Second the sake tour was off a closed brewery as it was not sake brewing season which runs during October. That is out of his contr... view more
