As you know, Shinjuku is a famous tourist attraction nowadays. However, the local people do not visit such tourist spots frequently. Because daily life and tourist spots are different. I have lived in central Tokyo for a long time. Therefore I will show you not only tourist spots also some places to use as part of ordinary people's life. This time is around Shinjuku station.
What to Expect
My plan is that each time I will propose to you different types of bars or places, so you can choose which one suits you best.
- The place feeling secretly aura
- Yakitori bar on a narrow side street
- Lively Izakaya
- Friendly bar where you can talk to local people
- Nostalgic but very cool bar
- Go bar-hopping
Basic course for 3 hours;
1)17:00 Meet at the closest station to where we are going
2)17:00 - 18:00 Stroll some tourist spots
2)18:00 - 19:30 At a bar/Izakaya (1 or 2)
3)19:30 - 20:00 Walk around the street
4)20:00 Tour ends
The areas I’m most familiar with in central Tokyo are Kagurazaka, Shinjuku, Ginza, Nakano, Koenji, Kichijoji, Ueno and Kanda. But if you would like to try any other place, or if you already have a certain place in mind but need a companion, I will arrange it. So please tell me your requests, and I will do my best!
My schedule is not fixed, so I can adjust it flexibly. Basically I need your reservation two weeks in advance, but the reservation in the last minute sometimes is all right.
So please feel free to get in touch with me.
