What to Expect

The picking strawberry is one of the harbingers of the height of spring in Japan.
Since we have sweet and safe strawberries to eat there, visitors from abroad to the country are willing to rush to the farm.
Harvest Hill, located at Sakai City in 30 minutes' ride south of Osaka city, is an agricultural theme park with a wide variety of flowers, vegetables,
fruits, and cereal crops grown. They also keep some sheep, goats, cows, and hens .
Reservation is required of the strawberry picking.

Marina City, located in the north of Wakayama Prefecture,is a fisherman's market alongside restaurants and souvenir shops.
They perform a tuna-dissection show twice or three times a day to sell Sashimi for tuna at a reasonable price.

Hi Zumi!
Its been one year ago that we use yr taxi service to go to kobe and a strawberry farm. My family and that includes my mom who is on a wheelchair had decided to visit Osaka again. Now my group consists of 7 people including my mom and her friend. (She's also on a wheelchair but she can walk) We had decided to visit kyoto and if possible another one city nearby. My intended date is flexible. Just choose any of the dates that you are available. 16May or 18May or 19May. If can, we would also like to go to a strawberry farm nearby which is wheel chair accessible. Hope to hear from you soon Zumi. Bye..greetings from Singapore..Rabiah

“ Zumi is very much on time! ”

When we arrive at Kansai Airport on the 8th of April, Zumi was waiting for us with a placard of my name. He gave us some information on where to go, etc. He's also on time when we are departing on the 16th. He arrived at our apartment at exactly 6am and drove us to Kansai Airport. Thank You, Zumi!

“ Private tour in Kyoto with guide ”

Mr Takehiko aka Zumi-San is an excellent guide. We had arrived in Kyoto to spend our first night at an Airbnb place that was freezing and my whole family was miserable. When Zumi-san arrived to take us on our tour and we lugged all our bags pleading him to take us to another place to check in, he was so very kind and said we could just bring all the luggage throughout the tour as there was ample space in his van. He was patient with my son who was sulking, patient with us when we stopped for photos, offered to take our photo for us at the top sights and explained about the history and culture of Kyoto. He also rushed us to Kiyomizu dera to try and catch an important annual event where the high priest would announce the Kanji character for the year that was. At the end of the tour, he dropped us off at the New Hankyu hotel where he assured us would be positively different from our first lodging. All in all, he made us feel a lot better by the end of the day and we are considering seeing him again for a tour of Osaka next week. Domo arigato gozaimasu, Zumi-san!

“ Rice cake throwing event ”

Our Travel with Takehiko was so enjoyable. From pick up at our hotel to the sacred mountain of Koyasan to our departure at Shin Osaka station our expert travel guide was pleasant, flexible and accommodating. We even enjoyed a rice cake throwing ceremony as Monks and Koyasan residents thanked their local Gods & Goddess who protect the land and bring a good harvest. You won't regret spending a terrific day with this expert guide.
