What to Expect
Tsuru-no-maihashi was built on Tsugaru-Fujimi lake in 1994.
This wooden bridge was also built by white cedar of Aomori.
The bridge is the longest triple arched bridge in Japan and approximately 300m in total length.
You can see superb view with the bridge and Mt.Iwaki, if it’s fine.
There are also many cherry trees on the site and the trees are in full bloom in late April every year.
In late April, you can see both cherry blossoms in Hirosaki castle park and here.
At the Hall, 3 gigantic floats used for the Tachi-Neputa festival held in August every year are exhibited all the season.
You can see the most impressive floats in Neputa in Aomori Prefecture.
A new float announced every year are also created in this building.
You can see the float making when you come here before the festival.
Takayama Inari Shrine
Takayama Inari shrine is located in Tsugaru city.
There’s no public transport to the site . You only come here by renting a car or chartering a taxi.
The numerous Torii gates can only be seen here all year around.
There’s also many double-flowered cherry trees in the site, the cherry trees are in full bloom in the beginning of May.
