How many passengers can a taxi accommodate?

It depends on the car/ bus size as follows:
Taxi (sedan: 4, jumbo: 9)
Bus (micro: 17, small: 24, medium: 34, big: 45)

How do you count no. of children?

Under 12, 3 children are counted as 2 adults, 2 children are counted as 2 adults and 1 child is counted as 1 adult.
*Infants are also counted in the total no. of passengers.

Can I request a child seat?

It depends on the taxi company (it is not an obligation to provide a child seat in a taxi). Please leave notes (the age of the child is necessary) in the request form upon booking.

Can a taxi carry large sized luggage?

It depends on the luggage size and the no. of passengers. The normal sedan taxi has a fuel tank in its trunk, so please be advised that the trunk is smaller than of a normal car.

How early do I have to make a reservation?

The customer is requested to complete booking process (with payment) 3 days before the tour date at the latest.
During high seasons (spring and fall in Japan), all of the cars in our stock usually get reserved, so please make a reservation well before hand.

Can I change my reservation after booking?

We accept your request via messages. If it is at short notice, we might charge extra fee for the arrangement.

Can I change the starting time on the day of the tour?

It is not possible to change the starting time at short notice.

Can I make another reservation?

Does the tour price include toll fee?

No. Please kindly pay the toll fee by cash on site where necessary.

What does the tour price include?

It includes driver fee, fuel fee and tax. Parking fee, toll fee, deadhead toll fee and ferry fare are excluded, so please kindly pay by cash on site.

What are deadhead toll fee and ferry fare?

Deadhead toll fee is toll fee for a taxi to go to the meeting point before the tour and to return to the company garage after the tour (only if it has to take a toll road). Ferry fare means passenger fare and taxi carriage fare if the route includes ferry transportation during the tour. (passenger fare of the driver is included in the carriage fare)

Do I have to bring anything for the tour?

Please bring the printed booking confirmation so that the driver can identify you upon meeing. If it's impossible to print it out, please take notes of reservation no., boarding date, company's name and its phone number on your memo. Or you can show the booking confirmation on your smartphone.

Where am I supposed to meet the driver?

In the case of the hotel pick-up, please wait in the hotel lobby. The driver will come and pick you up. In the case of airport/ station pick-up, the driver will welcome you holding a board with the guest's name at the arrival/ ticket gate. If the pick-up place is not the arrival/ ticket gate, we will notify the guest in advance.

What if I am running late for the meeting time?

The driver will wait max. 30min if the train/ plane is being delayed. If you are running late due to personal reasons and we can't contact you within 10min of the meeting time, your reservation will be cancelled. If we can contact you, the taxi meter will run until your arrival and you will be requested to pay for the fare additionally.

What if the taxi/ bus does not show up?

Please kindly call the operation company on your booking confirmation or us (our business hours are 9am-6pm on weekdays).

Does the driver conduct guided tours?

In the case of sightseeing tours, the driver is supposed to give a guided tour, but it will be provided mainly by English materials such as a brochure and pamphlet due to the language limitation of the driver. In the case of airport/ station transfer and a bus tour, no tour will be offered.

Can I change the routes of the tour after the departure?

Please kindly ask the driver. There is a possibility that your request cannot be met.

What If I want to finish the tour earlier than the scheduled ending time?

Please kindly ask the driver. Please be advised that the tour fee is not refundable.

Do you accept guests with a wheelchair?

If it's a foldable wheelchair, a taxi can carry it in its trunk. In the case of an electric one, availability of taxis with wheelchair lifts are limited to certain areas, so please kindly send us an inquiry.

Can I carry my pet with me in a taxi?

It is usually not acceptable (depending on the taxi company), but guide/ service dogs are exempted. If you have one in your group, please leave request notes upon booking.
