Ukiyoe is traditional Japanese art. It consists of three stages, painting, engraving and printing. Only one stage is not perfect. All three essence is needed for one whole story. One day I came across knowing artist, Mr. David Bill. I’m amazed to see him engraving the wood with highly skillful technique. I feel happy foreign artist succeed traditional fragile Japanese art. Asakusa is good place to enjoy the diversity of beauty established in the 17th to 18th century. Temple, shrine, pilgrim street Nakamise and woodblock printing art shop, Mokuhanga house.
