Vegetarian Restaurants in Tokyo

by Erina - TripleLights travel specialist

In a country where fish and meat are readily available at every turn, it can be overwhelmingly difficult to find restaurants that serve vegetarian dishes. Sadly, it's too often that I've spotted tourists eating onigiri (rice balls) from convenience stores. If you're a vegetarian, you'll no longer need to resort to convenient store meals. Below is a list of restaurants in Tokyo serving up delectable veggie-based dishes. Enjoy!

I had very good experience with my guide, Toshihiro. He is very responsive from my very first stage of planning to the finalizing the itineraries. I learned a lot of Tokyo’s past and present from him, which I would otherwise have not been able to learn from any books. He has also been very flexible too regarding the schedule. He also introduced me to more authentic Japanese food. I recommend Toshi...
