The Path of Bamboo: Chikurin no Michi

Ever dreamt of a straight pavement inside a forest surrounded in tall stalks of bamboo trees? Chikurin no Michi, also popularly known as Arayashima Bamboo Grove, is the perfect place to visit. With a straight walk path of around 100m from the Nonomiya Shrine going to Okochi Sanso Villa, any sightseeing and nature lover wil surely enjoy the refreshing back-to-nature atmosphere in the middle of this bamboo forest.

Tourists may also enjoy the grove at night, where the path is usually dim lit in soft orange lights which give a very romantic atmosphere perfect for couples too.
