I was very lucky today to be invited to a meeting of the Volunteer Tour Guides for the Northern Region of Lake Biwa (奥びわ湖観光ボランティアガイド). The meeting was held at a newly opened local restaurant in Kinomoto (木ノ本), which used to be an important post station along Hokkoku street since the Provincial War Period (戦国時代). The hostess, who is an important staff in the organization too, was very generous enough to serve us the best local cuisines with surprisingly discounted prices. I’m sure I’ll take our guests to that conscientious eating facility someday to make them enjoy to their hearts’ content.
