The Architectural Grandeur of Omotesando

Omotesando is a tree lined avenue located in Harajyuku and Aoyama district. This regal boulevard was oiginally designed as the official approach to Meiji-Jingu.  Now it's a fashionable strip lined with high-end boutiques. Those designer shops come in designer buildings ( designed by famous architects and recipients of the Pritzker Prize) so also one of the best places in the city to see contemporary architecture.

There is so much to see in Tokyo that it's hard to cover everything in one go, but this was a great overview. Atsuko also guided us to a great ramen place in Tokyo Station that had vegetarian, vegan, and even gluten free optio...

Very knowledgable and informative, helped us with buying out metro card, took us to a traditional Japanese restaurant for lunch and really crammed in a lot into the 6 hour tour, more than we would have done o...
