Big Snow Wall Corridor

The Tateyama is a heavy snowfall region. Depending on the year, 20 m deep snow can be piled up. Snow corridor walking is opened from mid April to mid June. It's about 500 m long walk. The snow of the corridor is the height from 17 m to 14 m. We use 5 different transportations to get to Kurobe Dam from Tateyama station. They are Tateyama Cable Car, Tateyama Highland Bus, Tateyama Tunnel Trolley Bus, Tateyama Ropeway, Kurobe Cable Car. Kurobe Dam is the highest arch dam in Japan. The dam is 186 m tall. Incredible Takashi. Our day trip to snow corridor with him was just satisfying, though it was hectic he made our tour well fit in time. Could not think of anyone better doing this trip as Takashi. Would suggest him 100 percent to guide him to snow corridor without a doubt.

Takashi san did a wonderful job showing an elementary school group from Australia around Kanazawa for the day. This was a group of 33 people using public transport and he was very calm and informative catering the tour to the age of the children. We would definitely recommend Takashi san for future tours.

Takeshi San was our tour guide last 2 days in Kanazawa. We hit most of the sights in Kanazawa and half day tour of Shirakawa-Ko. He communicated with me very well through email to set up the tour, and he was very punctual, and managed our time very well at all the sights in Kanazawa. His knowledge of history was impeccable. We couldn't have asked for a better guide, and we loved Kanazawa!

“ Great half day tours of Kanazawa and Shirakawa-go ”

Very extremely knowledgeable and patient tour guide. Packed the two half day tours as much as he could while accommodating our little 5 year old. Omicho market and Kenroku-en Garden were very interesting at Kanazawa. Shirakawa-go was beautiful in winter - the gassho style farmhouses showed why the architecture was such in heavy snow.

Takeshi is very friendly ,well prepared and very informative. The one day tour in Kanazawa coverd the most of sightseeings without rushing around in a beautiful day.
