In case of bad weather, most festivals are postponed till the next day. If the weather is bad on both days, the festival will be cancelled. Yokohama Kaikou Fireworks Festival – Kanagawa Prefecture

Kurihama Perry Fireworks Festival 2014 – Kanagawa Prefecture

Atami is famous nation-wide for it’s hot spring bathing, Onsens, and is especially good for Tokyoites – Tokyo people – because it’s only 1 hour away. Atami hanabi firework festival has a long history, more than 60 years, and has been one of the seasons must-see event. Hotels have their own reserved seating available.
