Whats on?

The main attraction of Shinjuku Art Heaven is fashion. Held in the week before Tokyo Fashion Week, many designers seize the chance to attract the public eye for their new collections. Many new brands also present their styles, as well as fashion schools and the (many) large department stores Shinjuku is famous for. Runways and showcases are built throughout the area, so just head on down and enjoy what Shinjuku has on offer for next season.

Mixture of arts

Shinjuku Art Heaven is not only about fashion. There are also live performances of acrobatics, comedy, and traditional Japanese arts to enjoy. Both Japanese and overseas performers make this event to be bursting with energy!

When? 1-5 Oct, 2014
Where? Around Shinjuku station

“ As much Tokyo as possible in one day! ”

Very Good
1 hour ago Traveler: Allie -   Tour Guide: Hiroshi

Hiroshi (Gucci) was very good with communication before we met, making suggestions about itineraries and what was really do-able in one day. He was prompt and personable. He allowed me to set the pace (choosing when/where for lunch), and didn’t mind me spending some time for souvenir shopping. We used the subway a LOT (tip = buy the subway day pass!), and also did miles of walking. I was able to g...

Mack was very organized prior to our arrival in Tokyo. He corresponded quickly and was not only able to plan our itinerary but make restaurant recommendations and bookings for a big party. On the day of, he was on time. He knew the subway system well and the details of each site. We were the very first to request a visit to a hedgehog cafe which he researched and arranged for us to go to wi...

This was my family's first visit to Japan. We spent 2 half-days with Maru, and had a great experience. She is very knowledgeable, has good communication skills, tailored the itinerary to what we wanted to see, and was super responsive and proactive in setting everything up (tickets, restaurants research, etc). Even after our official tour was over, we would send her a few questions, and she wou...

Excellent
17 hours ago Traveler: Lorraine -   Tour Guide: Yumi

It’s not how much you see, but what and how much you can learn in one day, not just about this great city, but also about its people. People like Yumi, friendly, interesting, informative, knowable, willing to go out of her way, all add to one’s experiences and instill an interest and yearning to return. Yumi was the perfect guide for us.

“ Great Day In Tokyo With Nobu ”

Excellent
1 day ago Traveler: Kathy -   Tour Guide: Nobu

We needed both a guide and driver to pick us and our luggage up at the end of a cruise. Nobu arranged for the car and driver, arrived promptly at the cruise terminal at the time agreed upon and was extremely flexible with our itinerary. We couldn't have asked for a better one day tour of Tokyo. Nobu is a very kind and knowledgable man and we would not hesitate to hire him again. He even helped ...

“ Shimizu Port Tour 2 ”

Excellent
1 day ago Traveler: Teresa -   Tour Guide: Shoji

I gave Shoji quite an ambitious list of sights that roughly followed his Shimizu Tour #2. In order to try and get us everywhere, he came to pick us up at the cruise terminal 20 minutes early in case we could debark early, which we were able to do. All during the day he made sure we were comfortable and happy. He arranged all kinds of little side trips and experiences once he discovered that w...
