It was not only a tough but also a satisfied day today. I came up with a great idea of climbing up to Shinmei Yama mountain (神明山) this morning, since it seemed to me that today must be a typical fine spring day throughout the day. The mountain is said to have been the spearhead of Hideyoshi’s army against Shibata at Shizugatake battle in 1583. I sweated a lot like a horse when I took the shortest distance to the fortress, but it was rewarding. I felt as if I were actually watching a lot of warlords and his soldiers making a dash to attack the enemies.
