Right-side Driver's Seat in Japan

by Yuri - TripleLights travel specialist

If you still aren't aware of it, Japanese vehicles have their driver's seats situated on the right, and cars drive on the left side of the road. This can be a very interesting thing especially when you came from a country that does it the other way around.

In Japan, people use public transportation more than owning and driving cars, especially when you need to go somewhere far from your place. Public transportation in Japan is considered more convenient because it is faster, and not to mention you can most probably avoid traffic.
