We were lucky enough to have Mayumi as our host. From the moment we met Mayumi her attention to detail the care that she showed our family was amazing. Mana is an informed, enthusiastic guide. She covered a lot. We visited mainly shrines and temples. This was great as many of what we saw that day would have been difficult to visit on our own. We both found her English excellent. She is happy to completely customize your tour. We would recommend her happily.

1 hour ago Traveler: Jacqueline -   Tour Guide: Chinami

Chinami is an A+++ Tour Guide. Starting from the booking process all the way until the end of our tour, she was extremely helpful, kind and thoughtful in every way you'd hope a guide would be. Chinami is incredibly knowledgeable in so many subject matters and we learned so much from her in one day. Aokigahara is incredibly beautiful, but unfortunately we could only be there for one day. Wish we ha...

Arnold stepped into a difficult situation—we’d booked another guide who came down with the flu, and Arnold was given less than 48 hours’ notice to replace her. But he came through, going over her itinerary with us and making sure we got to everything we wanted to see, plus making other suggestions, like the Tokyo Sky Tree. He also stayed with us for extra time when I didn’t realize his deadline ha...

Nobuko helped us plan our complete itinerary and we completed every stop for the day including giving my wife plenty of time to shop for her favorite treats. Nobuko has impeccable engli...

We were a group of three and had less than a day in kyoto. We wanted to see so many things and he made it possible! He brought a little booklet and has printouts for teaching us about the different symbols at the temples and shrines we went to. He was so knowledgeable and easy to get along with. He showed us how to respectfully enter the temples and shrines. He even helped us get on the train to o...
