Hiroyuki is a very friendly and heartily guide. He knows his way around well and has led me to places that are not crowded with tourists. His English is okay, but he is working to improve it. All in all, I would book him again, because he knows very well about Tokyo and carries the heart in the right place.

“ Highlight of our trip!!! ”

3 hours ago Traveler: Maria -   Tour Guide: Toshiyo

Toshiyo was patient, very knowledgeable, kind, friendly, and considerate. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We had about 8 main must see places on our list and we saw all, but 1 because of the time constraint (we arrived late from Tokyo). With the complex and multiple modes of transportation between the places we wanted to see, we would’ve never been able to accomplish this without her! It was a particularl...

“ Fun afternoon in Osaka ”

4 hours ago Traveler: Susan -   Tour Guide: Nobuko

I had one free day in Osaka before starting a week of business meetings. I signed up for an afternoon tour with Nobuko and had a really great experience. Nobuko is really friendly and very knowledgeable about Osaka. Even though she had suggested a certain itinerary when I booked, she was happy to be flexible and we changed the tour a bit as we went along. By the end of the afternoon, I felt as...

7 hours ago Traveler: Carol -   Tour Guide: Makiko

Makiko did a great job accommodating our requests for a more non traditional tour. She took us to a local restaurant for lunch and made sure to understand what we wanted to do. She included local cooking stores, sake tasting, zoo cafes, and of course a few traditional sites and gardens. She showed our daughter popular teen shopping stores as well as helping our son sample Japanese snacks. We woul...

Excellent plan preparation in advance of tour, asking for our preferences and suggesting practical options as needed. Also touched base at our hotel the night before, in case we needed to update anything. Tour to various locations was almost all by the extensive Tokyo subway system, which Toshi explained to us with a detailed system map. This is very useful, as - except for station names - many...

After agreeing on our personalized itinerary by email, Toshi met us at our hotel and showed us Tokyo in 6 hours!! We walked and took the subway to see everything we planned. Toshi speaks excellent English and answered all of our many questions. He took us to places we'd never have been able to find ourselves including a rooftop view of the Scramble, and delicious noodle soup. We only had one da...

Hiroko and I had been communicating through Triple Lights for a few months before my trip. I took the Shinkansen from Kobe to Kyoto, and recognized Hiroko right away. It was like seeing a long-lost friend! She is warm, generous, speaks perfect English and loves to smile and share her love for Japan. We went to the Torii Gates, to the Kennin-ji temple, the oldest Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto, w...

Yuki is an excellent guide and very flexible and accommodating. We were not certain about our plans, but Yuki reserved time for us even before booking giving the opportunity to finalize our itinerary. He also helped us to decide on the attractions to visit during 1st day in the city, and gave a lot of tips on how to get to other spots we are planning to visit on our own. This is definitely the w...

This was our first visit to Tokyo. Dai was awesome, very very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. He planned the whole day as an overview of Tokyo. We had our two daughters with us and he was very patient and took us places they would also enjoy. Our highlight was the Senso Temple & Tsukiji Fish Market. Dai showed us how to navigate the subway which was so helpful for the rest of our stay...
