Monkey Park

Monkeys’ park in Mt.Iwata ,Arashiyama

Going trekking in an uneven slope for almost 25 minutes from the west side of Togetsu Bridge will take us to the top of Mt. Iwata where is the home of monkeys
native to Japan.

It becomes popular for tourists from abroad because it's really fun to interact
with them at a close distance in Kyoto city.
We can feed peanuts to them from inside the tea house.
Some staffs might take pictures of both you and the monkeys.
