“ A very accommodating guide/ ”

5 months ago Traveler: Salim -   Tour Guide: Akira.S

Our group of 8 had the good fortune of having Akira S as our tour guide for two days in Tokyo. On the first day Akira ensured that we had a great visit to Mt Fuji and the next day he showed us the highlights of Tokyo. We found him to be a most accommodating person who was able to customize the tour as per our requirements. We learnt a lot about the history of Japan, it's culture and cuisine during...

“ Helpful and Informative, Great Experience ”

5 months ago Traveler: RACHELLE -   Tour Guide: Akira.S

Akira was so helpful on our first day in Japan. He showed us how to use the Tokyo subway and generally how to navigate Tokyo and get our bearings by pointing out landmarks near our hotel. He is gave us history and explanations of the landmarks we visited and took pictures of us at each site. It was so helpful to have a local guide us so we could sightsee despite the jet lag. Highly recommend Akira...

“ From tour guide to family friend! The amazing Akira-san. ”

6 months ago Traveler: Abilash -   Tour Guide: Akira.S

I came with my wife and 6 year old daughter to Japan for the first time. Similarly it was our first tour in Japan and I feel very fortunate to have met Akira-san as our guide. From the moment we met him at the lobby, my family was very well looked after. We had been chatting over a few emails before our tour, so when we finally met, it was like meeting a good friend. Akira-san got along very well ...

“ Amazingly thoughtful, committed informative guide ”

7 months ago Traveler: Anna -   Tour Guide: Akira.S

We were lucky to have Akira as our guide for Tokyo and would highly recommend. Our plans were changed by the typhoon and luckily we were able to reschedule for a different day with Akira at the end of our trip. He was in constant communications leading up to our day with him and very thoughtful and understanding of the changes. Getting around the mass transit was very easy and accessible. He gave ...

“ Enjoyable time with Akira ”

7 months ago Traveler: Karen -   Tour Guide: Akira.S

Mr Akira met us at our hotel lobby and brought us to Tsukiji. We had a scrumptious sushi breakfast based on his recommendation. Thereafter, we explored the outer market with Mr Akira showing us and explaining the different veggies, fish and produce. Then we headed to Asakusa. We had an enjoyable time with him. He is knowledgeable, caring and very proud of his culture. Highly recommend!

“ Kawagoe tour ”

9 months ago Traveler: Amanda -   Tour Guide: Akira.S

Akira is a fantastic tour guide and an extremely nice person. We went to kawagoe to see the storehouses and go on a soy sauce factory tour. The town was charming with great souvenir options (and much less crowded than some of the attractions in Tokyo). Unfortunately my daughter developed a stomach ache from the night before but Akira was able to help so much. He assisted us in getting her safely ...

“ Wonderful day with Akira ”

My family (husband and two teenage daughters) and I had a wonderful time with Akira exploring theTokyo Station, Tsukiji Fish Market, Hamarikyu Gardens and Asakusa. He was well-versed in the background of the places we visited and especially wanted to show my husband who is an architect, Tokyo Station and another building in Asakusa. He brought us to a delicious restaurant where my husband said it ...

“ Lovely man and perfect experience! ”

1 year ago Traveler: Chris -   Tour Guide: Akira.S

Akira was lovely to communicate with in helping us reach a destination in Tokyo which was difficult as a foreigner. He responded quickly and clearly at all times. When the day of the tour came, he was promptly on time, helped us with exactly what we needed, and even helped us for how to get back into Tokyo afterwards after the tour was done. I have nothing but positive things to say.
