Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum

On June 21st I took six guests from USA to Kobe Sightseeing by a jumbo taxi.  First I visited Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum.  After guests watched a 15-minute film about the history of sake bwewing and sake making process, they bought sweets of sake cracker as souvenirs.

A panoramic view of Kobe Port Island

As we were favored by good weather, we went to Kikusedai Observatory in Mt.Maya.  While driving, hydrangeas were in full bloom in the moutain path of Mt.Rokko.  Furthermore we could command a panoramic view of Kobe Port Island from the observatory, and the night vew is said to be 10 million dollar night scene. And we went down to the bottom of the mountain using Maya Ropeway and Maya Cable Car.

Kobe Port Cruise

We get on Ocean Princess (cruise ship) and joined Kobe Bay Cruise. Kobe Port Isalnd has Kobe Airport and luckily we could take a picture of airplane's landing.  Also we could see the Red Kobe Bridge, connecting to the Kobe Port Island.  The bridge is the first double-deck bridge in Japan!!

Tetsujin-28-go or Gigantor

In Nagata we could look at Tesujin-28-go, or the man robot character in a mange series that first appeared in the 1950's.  This monument was built as a symbol of recovery on September in 2009.

Kobe Beef

We had Kobe Beef  for dinner, responding to a request.  While the chef grilled foods such as shrimps, cabbages and other vegetables, we could enjoy his performance. As might be expected, Kobe Beef was very delicious and I was very happy to see guests' smiling.

“ Full-service guide that kept our large group moving ”

Hideo was a super tour guide! We booked professional tours through the cruise ship at other destinations, and this tour was very comparable to those, at a fraction of the cost. I can highly recommend Hideo, based on this experience. I helped to organize the tour with Hideo for a group from Cruise Critic, that ended up being 25 people. Hideo consolidated all of the costs (travel, entry fees...

A group of six adults had arranged for Hideo to meet us at the ship and take us to the castle and adjoining gardens and then go on the rope way above the town. We found to our disappointment that Hideo had no interest in the group. He rarely volunteered any information, but did have some answers if we persisted with questions. One of our party was using a walkingstick and he showed no inter...

Hideo was a real find. Our group of 6 engaged him to escort and guide us around Osaka, with transportation and sightseeing through Nara and three days of touring in Kyoto. We found him to be very personable and articulate. Hideo was extremely knowledgeable about each of these destinations, as well as how to navigate them and avoid the crowds. He went above and beyond to make what was a first trip ...

Excellent

As a private group of 6 individuals on a tightly scheduled vacation, we had requested an 8-hour customized itinerary that would allow us to visit the top 4 attractions in Kyoto and allow us to travel from Tokyo via Shinkansen and return the same evening. We had also requested Hideyoshi-san to arrange a private taxi/van for us as we wanted to spend more time at the sites versus navigating public tr...

We booked an afternoon tour with Hideo, but unfortunately I had an accident as our tour was to begin. Hideo went above and beyond what any guide would do, meeting us at the hospital, arranging transport and even returning the next day to help us make it onto our train on time. Words cannot express how indebted to him we are for his help. You won't find a more compassionate human to spend time with...
