Keisei Skyliner is the fastest way to get to Tokyo area from Narita Airport

From Narita Airport, which is in the Southeast of Tokyo, Keisei Skyliner is the fastest way to get to Tokyo area.  I recommend you that you book a hotel in UENO (U・E・NO)  if you're going in and out from Narita.

From January to May, you can walk to Ueno Park, where you will find Cherry blossoms--Sakura-- blooming.

There is also a hotel with PANDA ROOMS.

Shinjuku and Shibuya are commerical districts that you would hardly see any Cherry along the boulvevards.

-----(If you have to change to JR Yamanote Line,  change at NIPPORI STATION)----------------------

When you have to change to JR Yamanote Line, however, transfering  at Nippori Station would be more convenient than  at UENO.  At UENO, you have to go up the escalators from Keisei Ueno Station and walk a while, cross the crowded roads to get to JR Ueno Station, but at Nippori, it's in the same station building.

There is a hotel, which is celebrating there 30 year anniversary,  very close to NIPPORI Station.

-----(Highway buses are also available for Tokyo Station)--------------------------------------------------------

If you can be patient with the traffic jam, there are two highway buses getting to Tokyo/Ginza area, which is just 1000 yen.

KEISEI BUS  (pronounced like K-says)       Press the English button of the following page if necessary

During evening hours, you might get caught in a traffic jam at the highways of Tokyo, but it might be the cheapest way to get to the Tokyo area.

“ Knowledge Guide - Fun to spend the day with! ”

Excellent

Yoko was very thoroughly prepared for our trip to Mt.Fuji. We knew visibility would be bad with a typhoon coming the next day, but we enjoyed all the activities she recommended even though we couldn't see the mountain. Yoko is very responsive online and easy to talk to during our tour. She knew a lot of interesting facts about sights we saw on the way out to the Mt.Fuji area, and recommended a gre...

When I heard that an American friend came to Japan for sightseeing, I hurriedly asked Yoko for a guide. So, I can't speak(and write) English well despite studying abroad. Yoko was a polite woman who responded very quickly. Really early! I have never seen a person who responds as politely and quickly as the same Japanese as her. Yoko did a very good job that day. She explained to my friends who ...

Yoko-san went above and beyond any expectations since the moment I contacted her to book our day tour with her months ago. She provided advice on hotels, suburbs, best advice on ways to get from the airport, and to other places that we would do on our own, inquiries about where to find Dragon Ball Z figures and a cat cafe that allowed kids. Our day yesterday with her visiting the Imperial Palac...

I stayed in Tokyo for less than 2 days with my 5 year old son. I decided that the best way to get a flavour of this wonderful city would be to go on a tour with a guide. I was right. Yoko was just great! Very knowledgable and organized. She took us on a great tour to all the major landmarks whilst navigating so effectively through the complicated transportation system! It was a beautiful day; we w...

We (me and my 12 year old son) scheduled a full day tour of Nikko with Yoko. We could not have been happier with the service she provided. No way we could have seen everything we did or navigate the trains/buses so efficiently without her. She also provided terrific insight into the history of the area as well as provided us with a great overview of current Japanese customs and culture. She is ...
