Japan Vendo for Farm Fresh Eggs

by Yuri - TripleLights travel specialist

Ever thought of buying from vending machines for all your needs? I think you need to dream longer no more, because Japan is on its way to selling everything through vending machines. This includes, of course, none other than farm fresh eggs!

Yes. Japan sells farm fresh eggs through vending machines! How is that possible you say? Well this is how a typical egg vending machine in Japan looks like. As you can see, you can choose the quantity, and how you like your eggs. Smaller quantites of eggs come in netted bags while bigger quantities (a dozen or more) come in egg cartons.

Most egg vending machines are owned by farmers and they can be usually found in the less urban areas of Japan.

Dai was an absolute joy to have as our tour guide. His knowledge of the city and Japanese culture overall was incredible to learn from. We were able to see all the areas and sites we wanted to, but also had plenty of time to enjoy each location. I highly recommend Dai to any future travellers to Tokyo who want to see this great city, but more importantly the histoy and culture of the city.

I had the opportunity to spend a whole day (12h) with Koji. Best decision I made. I could visit many places around Tokyo, try different foods, and learn a lot about history, culture, gastronomy etc. Koji is a truly phenomenal guide, who knows a lot about Japan and about how to keep guests entertained during the day. Also, there is no language barrier, as he is fluent in English. When I return to...

We love Akira! We had most of our family of five traveling for the first time to Japan (3 adults and 2 kids). Our original full day plan with Akira was: Tokyo SkyTree, Asakusa (Sensoji Temple), Imperial Palace. I asked him about the other options such as sumo wrestling and fish market which was meant for another time. He was quick to respond to all of my questions via email. The night before,...
